Relaxing weekend in Narbonne

Pros: Amazing building and nice decor. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and polite. Breakfast was plenty and good quality. The rooms are very spacious and quiet.

Pros: This is a fabulous hotel (and restaurant) which is in a grand building with beautiful furnishings, linen and bathroom. The corner room had high ceilings, 2 balconies and was very spacious. All the staff were very helpful, attentive and informative.

A beautiful hotel, run by lovely people, and with excellent food.

Exceptional hotel close to the centre

Pros: The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the centre. Everything in the building seems to be carefully and thoughtfully planned for the delight of the guests from the design of the rooms with contemporary technology that doesn’t need an instruction book to operate, to the really excellent food. The vegetarian option was exceptional. Rather delightfully, as I was pausing at the entrance one day, an elderly local lady stopped to recommend the restaurant. I had a pretty and very comfortable corner room with a shower; I hate showers but even this worked for me. There is an attractive reception room, two small garden areas, a pool which looked very inviting and a general atmosphere of elegance and tranquility. The staff offer a warm welcome and are charming and efficient.

Cons: My only tiny quibble is that the breakfast, beyond coffee and pastries, is menu-based rather than a buffet. This means that you have to make a choice between, for example, cereal and fruit salad. But this may be a matter of personal taste and the fruit salad (and the scrambled eggs) is excellent!

Good location and very helpful staff. We even were given a lift to the station.

Cons: It is a pity there isn't a car park (although it is only understandable, given how old the building is); however, there is plenty of parking space (both street-level and underground parking) only a 5-minute walk away.

Amazing hotel, lovely place to relax

Pros: Fabulous hotel with beautiful pool area. Lovely oasis from the heatwave. Friendly staff. Great location. The food in the restaurant was very good.

Cons: The breakfast was minimal and a bit lack lustre. I was only offered a menu on the second morning.
