We had an excellent stay in this classy and comfortable hotel. We strongly recommend it.

Pros: It was extremely classy, comfortable, clean, and close to the train station. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast. The owner was very helpful and friendly.

Charming boutique hotel

Pros: I stayed in five different hotels over the new year and humble Galla Placidia was my favourite. The place was full of character and designed with great detail.

Cons: It's only a small thing, but I would have liked a greater choice of tea/coffee in my room. I would have liked proper cups rather than paper

Perfect for a brief city visit, exactly what we wanted.

Pros: After a bit of confusion working out how to get in to the property we went to our lovely , clean room.Very comfortable though the bathroom was very cold.This would not be a problem in Summer time and we were not too bothered about it.The owner was delightful, helpful and genuine.It is a very lovely building with some interesting artifcts.The bonus was the fabulous Mane Kuhn cat who permitted us to stroke him/her.Higly recommended.

A gem of a hotel and the perfect host!

Pros: The hotel is perfect, a gem! The host is welcoming and attentive. We arrived very late and tired but everything was arranged for us. Our room and bed was just gorgeous and breakfast was delicious and beautifully set out.

Generally, very good. An excellent location.

Pros: Breakfast was okay. Had hoped for a greater variety of seasonal fruits - peaches, apricots, strawberries for example. But maybe I came to breakfast too late? Couple who run the hotel were great - super friendly, helpful, while always discreet. I loved the big breakfast table where guests could chat while eating together.
