Helpful and friendly staff - without doubt the best place to stay in Castres

Pros: Excellent location - museum and good restaurants all in close walking distance

A lovely stay!

Pros: My partner and I stayed two nights at the Grand Hotel de Castres. It is superbly located (close to the city centre and overlooking the Agout river) and its staff has been kind, responsive and helpful, both before and during our stay. Plus, the room amenities were thoughtful and welcomed and we also enjoyed having evening drinks at the hotel bar. A wholehearted recommendation.

Cons: There is no standing shower in the bathroom, just a bathtub.

Pros: Very charming, very helpful staff. Newly refurbished. Great restaurant and good breakfast.

Cons: Why is there body lotion in the shower where the shampoo should be? Just body lotion and body wash. Why put body lotion in the shower?

Best 4 star hotel in Castres

Pros: A Grand hotel in every sense of the word. Professional staff, immaculate condition and perfectly located for visiting Castres.

Cons: Shame there is no minibar fridge in the room. We would have enjoyed cold drinks after a hot afternoon sightseeing.

Pros: Staff were so lovely, excellent service and they could not do enough to make us feel comfortable with our dog. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the river was very much a bonus.
