Pros: The hotel is centrally located and easy to find. It does not have parking but there is a good secure car park at Republic which is five minutes walk away. The hotel its self is lovely and the rooms all Individual themed after various cities. The staff are wonderful and very welcoming and helpful. The evening meal which can be included in the room rate is home cooked delicious and great value which even includes wine and beer.

Cons: The beds are a bit on the hard side and jacuzzi bath we had in the room did not have a stand up shower attachment.

Wonderful boutique hotel, brilliant location with such welcoming and friendly staff

Pros: Wonderful boutique hotel, in a brilliant location in the middle of town with such welcoming and friendly staff. We visited Castres to attend rugby, and the location was ideal for a weekend stay. Being right in the centre of town, close to shops and restaurants, but only a 20 minute walk from the train station and walking distance for us to the rugby ground. One of our travelling group does walk with a stick, and the hotel staff helped arrange a taxi for them on the game day to get to the ground as well. The pictures on the website give you a glimpse at the style of this hotel, but it really has to be seen to be believed, the rooms all have their own unique feel and I don't think you could ever tire of turning into the stairway entrance hall! The staff were so helpful, and charming, we were always welcomed in and out of the hotel and felt really well looked after.

Pros: Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend the superb fixed price dinner menu. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Pros: The hotel is a beautiful building very tastefully decorated and there was simply nothing to fault there. Breakfast was excellent and we loved every minute of our stay there. The lady who greeted us also worked tirelessly throughout the breakfast service to ensure all guests had what they wanted. She was also the lady who welcomed us on arrival; a very friendly welcome that made you feel that you were going to enjoy your stay. All in all, an excellent stay; very good value and would thoroughly recommend.

Fabulous city centre character hotel

Pros: The hotel is a stunning classical French hotel with a beautiful internal finish. The staff were lovely and the breakfast plentiful. Rooms were all unique and many are very large. This is an old building but it has absolutely retained its character

Cons: Lift is very slow and small, but we could walk the stairs

Pros: Friendly staff without exception, superb breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms and brilliant location.

Cons: No parking but can't be helped due to location.

Heart of the city escape

Pros: The location, the building, the staff, the food…everything was perfect. Philippe and Angelita were even kind enough to have a meal (superb!) available for those of us who didn’t have any place to spend Christmas Eve!

Pros: A quaint building with a lot of character. Very friendly service and good food.
