Hôtel Renaissance

Great value, superb location and exceptional staff - cannot recommend enough.

Pros: Brilliant location, near the main square and Francisco Goya museum. Themed rooms were fun and tastefully decorated. Staff were exceptional, extremely friendly and hospitable. We travelled with a group to watch rugby, they kept the bar open on our return and celebrated the victory.

Cons: The bed in the Polar room is slightly short/small. This is a very minor observation, on what was a perfect hotel/weekend.

Pros: Outstanding Hotel run by a lovely couple who where very helpful. Great location close to the town centre and the rugby ground. Highly recommend.

A slightly eccentric (in a good way) hotel, in a great location.

Pros: The young woman who checked us in and then pretended that someone would carry our bags up the stairs - but actually did that herself - and then served the drinks in the bar and the food in the restaurant. She seemed to be running the place completely alone on a Saturday night - congratulations and thank you!

Wonderful old hotel with lots of character.staff were very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend!

Good location for town centre-lovely staff- comfortable bed

Pros: Staff lovely and position of hotel was great in the centre of town. Nespresso machine in room and a kettle too. Free bottle of water and good A/C

Cons: Despite having two windows with net curtains ( (which you had to leave closed) and drapes, the Room felt oppressive- facing neighbouring flats very close by and although quirky definitely did not feel 4 star. No lift if you have lots of bags too

Definitely stay at the Renaissance
