Our stay at Pax et Amor was amazing. Jakob and Effje were lovely hosts!

Pros: The hosts were lovely, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing with organic and home grown produce. The location was perfect, with stunning views and very peaceful. The whole environment had a special atmosphere. The option of evening meal was a lovely addition with organic produce.

Cons: The area around the pool could have been a little tidier. Parasols next to the sun loungers would have been useful as would sunbed cushions.

Pros: Jakob and Eefje were absolutely brilliant. They went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing and memorable. We stayed in the studio which was perfect - very comfortable and clean. The setting was incredible surrounded by countryside and vineyards. We had the gastronomic experience that Jakob prepared for us- the food was outstanding and we’d definitely recommend it for anyone staying. It’s amazing to see what they’ve done to the place over the years and we’ll definitely be returning!

Pros: El lugar es increíble. Precioso. Una amabilidad exquisita y afectuosa por parte de Eefje and Jakob. Más que un lugar en el que quedarse a dormir se ha materializado una visión preciosa de la vida. Todo es fantástico, pero si tengo que destacar algo... sin duda sería la comida que prepara Jakob. Realmente es una maravilla comer allí. Menudos postres!!! Esperamos volver unos días a caminar, dormir y comer de maravilla. Hasta la próxima

Pros: Mooie en rustige locatie, zeer authentieke mensen die alles er aan doen om het naar je zin te maken!

Cons: Ongelofelijk wat er hier aan werk werd verricht , maar er is nog veel werk… Het is echter onvoorstelbaar dat Eefje en Jakob dit aan het realiseren zijn!

Perfekt, erholsam und romantisch

Pros: Wir haben auf großer Rundreise durch Frankreich das Pax et Amor für 2 Übernachtungen als besonderes Highlight gebucht. Dank eines glücklichen Zufalls haben wir ein Upgrade bekommen und durften die Suite mit zusätzlicher Badewanne im Zimmer bekommen. Und es war einfach alles perfekt. Ein herzlicher Empfang von den beiden Gastgebern mit Führung durch das Haus und die Anlage. Das romantische Anwesen liegt knapp 30 Autominuten von Carcassonne und bietet all denen, die etwas abseits des Touristentrubels Erholung suchen eine wunderbares Plätzchen umgeben von Wein- und in unserem Fall Sonnenblumenfeldern. Ländliche Ruhe, ein kleines aber feines Frühstück und das Abendessen, dass der Herr des Hauses mit viel Liebe und Geschmack zauberte haben uns die Zeit hier unvergesslich gemacht. Es gibt wirklich absolut nichts negatives zu erwähnen.

Fantastisch!

Pros: Heel warme, aangename en behulpzame gastheer en gastvrouw. Jonge ondernemers boordevol ideeën, creativiteit en energie. Het voelt als thuiskomen en men geeft nuttige tips over de bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Eef is een aangename en lieve gastvrouw die je bij aankomst al onmiddellijk verwelkomt en wegwijs maakt. Het ontbijt is uitstekend en 's avonds kan je je culinair laten verwennen door de bijzondere en lovenswaardige kookkunsten van Jacob. Alles met zeer goede producten van lokale boeren of telers, uit eigen tuin en/of biologisch. Het is een groot en mooi domein met zwembad, tuin, zithoeken, ..... Het is er rustig en stil. Wij hebben genoten!!

Wow. Exceptional hosts and a lovely B and B. Go and see for yourselves you won’t be disappointed.

Pros: Everything. From the hosting to the size of the rooms , the cleanliness. The views, the pool, the lovely evening meal we had to the quality of the breakfasts. Everything was perfect. If you need a break in this lovely part of France this is the place to go.

Cons: Nothing. Exceeded our expectations.
