Château Les Carrasses

An absolutely fantastic place

Pros: Everything was great, I really could not fault this place. Fantastic settings, wonderful staff and a really exceptional stay. The dinner in the restaurant was lovely too.

Cons: Nothing!

Beatiful chateau to visit for a relaxing few days

Pros: A beautiful building, beautiful location, and great wine tasting tour (walk followed by tastings). Lots of wildlife in the vineyard, and the room we had booked was beautiful with a courtyard view of the glasshouse. I’m sure there are even nicer rooms with views of the vineyards.

Cons: We booked in for dinner and most of the dishes were absolutely beautiful but the duck was massively over cooked. Instead of removing from the bill, they brought out a dessert as an apology - but we already had two large desserts so had three…. And couldn’t eat it. So wasn’t quite the right thing to make up for the poor meal. It was one bad dish out of 2 starters and 2 mains so it wouldn’t put us off returning. Breakfast the next day was lovely. Also be aware it is visited by large American tour groups so when in the middle of France and the only accent you hear all around you on the dining terrace is not French and not a mix of different countries, it’s a little odd!

Beautiful Chateaux in the Langoudoc

Pros: Chateaux Lea Carrasses is a truly stunning building with very well maintained grounds. Set in beautiful vineyards it truly has a wow factor when approaching. The team were extremely helpful and polite,and made sure we felt comfortable and welcomed from the moment we arrived. A good location to explore the area - Minerve was particularly beautiful. Good selection of local restaurants - le Vauban and Porqois Pas were lovely.

Cons: The menu was a little limited and formal so we chose to dine in local restaurants.

Amazing beautiful stay in a delightful French vineyard

Pros: Beautiful building fabulous team and lovely location - great food

Pros: Amazing stay at such a beautiful place with a warm team ! They have been so accommodating and treated us with the utmost care. The Villa was wonderful, the breakfast was excellent, the massage was heaven, and the surroundings are astonishing!

Cons: Nothing, it was all perfect.

Wonderful Chateaux in a stunning location.

Pros: Gorgeous Chateaux set in a tranquil oasis of vines. The rooms were large and well decorated and provided all of the facilities one might expect. The restaurants food was exquisite and reasonably priced, and the Domains wine was delicious. Very attentive staff.

Cons: We did have to wait quite a bit for our dinner starter but once we brought up the matter they made amends and the quality of the food made up for the rest.

Loved it. It’s on our favourite list now.

Pros: Beautiful, and relaxed high quality. Food in restaurant was great. The best 2 meals we had in France, and very good value for that high level of cooking.

A beautiful hotel and location, with stunning views in a great place to explore the area

Pros: The location is absolutely beautiful surrounded by vineyards. The Château itself has been restored and is presented absolutely beautifully.. the view from our room on the first floor was magnificent. It is a lovely spacious hotel and the gardens around it are superbly maintained. The room itself was exceptionally clean and extremely comfortable. The extras like a free bottle of wine from the vineyard and fresh water was much appreciated. We travelled with our two dogs and were treated very well. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay for two weeks or two nights. It’s an exceptionally great place! I met two of the receptionists and possibly the managers, and they are running it superbly well.

Cons: I don’t think there is anything I can complain about the hotel.

Superb stay with restaurant in Languedoc.

Pros: Restaurant was excellent - great food, not over the top. Wines from their sister Domaine were excellent.

Cons: Its an old chateau - no elevators, steep stairs but thats part of the deal.
