Great value, great location

Pros: Excellent value for money. Equal distance between the Cité and Carcassonne town. Good places to eat all around the hotel. The manger was really nice, very accommodating.

Superb bolt hole

Pros: Lovely location between the Cité and the town. Full of ancient charm but all mod cons and fully air conditioned on a really hot night

Cons: Mind your head! My husband nearly knocked himself out twice…not for tall people

Pros: Good location near the old town and close to restaurants etc Air-conditioning was essential in high heat.

Cons: Only 1 mug provided ‘Fridge’ too small to be useful Cutlery provided, but no plates.

Wonderful apartment and host

Pros: Spacious, beautiful place in the centre of action and with everything you need in it i.e. extra towels, extra sheets, cuttlery, dishes, fridge, washing machine, dryer, coffee maker, teas, coffees etc. Amazing host who lets you be independent i.e. self check-in but who is always there for you and goes above and beyond (they dropped us to the lake and to the airport when we had trouble with the buses). Few mins walk from the castle and a bit longer (15mins) walk to the new town.

Pros: Bien situé par rapport à la cité. Charmante chambre , spacieuse, confortable et accueillante . Nous avons passé une nuit bien au calme. Il pleuvait à verse le jour de notre venue, j’ai vraiment apprécié que le chauffage ait été mis en avance, car nous sommes arrivés gelés de notre visite . La propriétaire a été très réactive quand j’ai posé une question en arrivant.

Cons: Le parking gratuit est vraiment proche, mais encore faut-il avoir de la place!

Alojamiento familiar

Pros: Recomiendo totalmente el apartamento. La ubicación era inmejorable tanto para ir a la Cité, que está a unos 10 minutos andando, como para ir a la zona nueva que era donde estaban los mercadillos de navidad, que está a algo menos de 15 minutos andando. En la misma calle donde se ubica el apartamento, hay cafeterías y restaurantes para desayunar, comer, merendar y cenar, eso siempre respetando los horarios franceses. Si vuelvo a Carcassone, sin duda repetiría el alojamiento.
