Wonderful place of historical interest to visit and stay with friendly hosts - and a wonderful meal.

Pros: The chateau was a great, historical place to stay. The dinner was excellent and the hosts wonderful to chat with. We really enjoyed talking with them and finding out about the history of the castle. The games room was great and the tour of the chateau was excellent.

Cons: Nothing to add here.

Pros: Anne and Stephan were wonderful hosts, explaining and showing the castle as well as sitting and chatting with us at the breakfast table. The castle is nicely renovated with many wonderful details. It's not often that you have the chance to stay in a house like this, which is almost 900 years old and has so much history.

Cons: Almost nothing, even the dry toilet wasn't a big issue for us.

Comfortable Castle among the fields and rolling hills

Pros: This renovated castle has amazing views of the rolling hills and incredible visibility for many miles. Our kind hostess gave us a tour and history of the castle. We were very comfortable staying at the top of the tower. This was our favorite lodging during our weeklong adventure. We hope to return with the family.

Cons: The courtyard could be cleaned up as it has great potential.

A step back in time in this wonderful historic chateau.

Pros: Wonderfully historic chateau that has been renovated completely by host Anne’s father. Anne and her partner Stephane were charming and very accomodating, cooked us a wonderful meal and told us all about the history of the property. The bedrooms were incredible, curved and authentic, I had the best nights sleep I’ve had for years in my stone room! Wonderful attention to detail and a real commitment to sustainability and supporting local artisans, whose produce was featured throughout our stay. This is a real find and highly recommended!

Pros: The Chateau is set in a beautiful location with views over the surrounding countryside. Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful.
