Pros: It was in a perfect location, really close to a few great restaurants. Then both a short walk from the castle and new town areas. The house was really nice. All three rooms were spacious. The kitchen and living area had everything that was needed to accommodate staying in as well

A second visit to this lovely property.
Pros: This was our second visit to the property, which we like very much. It is a sympathetically renovated 2-storey house and has everything you could need for a stay in Carcassonne (including comfy beds!). It is ideally located in a quiet street at the base of the ramparts of the medieval castle. It is ideal for a visit to the castle but it's also an easy walk to the modern city (15 to 20 mins.) and there are several eating places nearby. The property is a great place to escape the activity of the city and chill out. It does not itself include an outsiide space; however, Carcassonne has plenty of public spaces to take in the ambiance of the area, have a coffee, or watch the world go by!
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: A fabulous house so near the cite and local facilities and restaurants! The house is beautifully furnished and has everything you could need for a few days break! Bedrooms were super comfy with aircon and the ensuite facilities were excellent! Bonus was the garage!
Cons: Nothing! The whole stay was perfect!

Great value accommodation in an excellent location.
Pros: We were grateful for the air conditioning in 2 of the bedrooms. The location was excellent and the bedrooms were spacious and nicely styled. The games were a nice touch.
Cons: No air conditioning downstairs or in the 3rd bedroom - it was very warm when we were staying, so my son ended up sleeping on the sofa bed in our air conditioned room instead. Some shower gel would have been appreciated.

Clean, well equipped property in a great location for Carcassonne
Pros: Great location. Easy to get to (on motorbikes) and host sent us some good information to identify the property. Very clean inside and the air-con was essential as the weather was so hot. Just a few minutes walk from the old city entrance. Plenty of food/drink nearby.
Cons: Charging for parking

Great location. Comfortable beds. Air conditioning!
Pros: Great location. It was easy to visit the old city behind. Beware that you need to be reasonably fit to climb the hill up to the chateau/old town (and the stairs in the house). Air conditioning in the bedrooms. The bedrooms and shower rooms/toilets were excellent. Good American fridge/freezer. Nice mixture of old and new. There are lots of restaurants nearby. You can also walk across the bridge to the shops in the newer part of town. Whilst it is not perfect we think it would be difficult to find somewhere better. It suited us very well.
Cons: The kitchen/dining/living room was ok but relatively small and dark. The upstairs is much larger. There was one small sofa in the living room, which was fine for two, but if there had been six of us there would have been competition for the sofa. The TV was up high with limited french channels only. Access to the house by car is limited. Free parking on other nearby streets is quite possible. How far away from the house depends on the time of day.

It was great for a weekend break but would work just as well for a longer stay. We would definitely book again if we ev
Pros: We loved the location, very close to the restaurants and bars and a short climb up to the citadel. The house was simply but tastefully furnished and was very clean and welcoming. The garage was the icing on the cake.

Good location for city and good communication with owner
Pros: Location Close to restaurants and the old city. Washing Machine available in garage where others have said there wasn’t one. We didn’t use the parking but the garage was large and looking at the prices of the car parks offered at a fair price
Cons: Only comfortable seating for 2 persons but seating at the diner table for 6

Our short stay was short but wonderful - we felt completely re-energized!
Pros: The location is superb, with the medieval Cité and lower, more modern part of the city both within a reasonably short walking distance. The house is just off one of the main routes between the two, which meant that, when we visited, we found it delightfully quiet (for a city). Also, there are a number of friendly restaurants and a convenience store nearby. Further afield, we also found some other great places to eat. The old property has been very sympathetically renovated to a modern standard and everything was provided that we might possibly need, including comfortable beds! The owners were so helpful to us before we arrived (and since!), in providing information about local places to eat, things to see, etc.. We are hoping to return sometime for another great stay.
Cons: There is nothing that we didn't like! It is really, really hard to think of anything that could be done to improve the property, which suited our purposes perfectly.
