We really enjoyed our short break in Carcassone and this apartment was perfect

Pros: Wonderful location near to the old city and the epicerie around the corner is very well stocked. It was warm when we arrived in a very cold day and there is lots of hot water. The view of the castle walls from the bedroom is the stuff of fairy tales

Oh… The Views.

Pros: I like everything. From the fantastic views to the castle, the location of the apartment, the narrow streets and the feeling of authenticity of the town. Good parking just meters away. Sophie was gentile and approachable. I had a blast ! and the best possible memories.

Pros: Very close to the castle, can see from one of the bedroom windows. Free croissants from the local shop next door owned by the house owners also. Nice seperate living area downstairs to the bedrooms.

Pros: Amazing location just outside the citadel. A lovely street of bars and restaurants is just a 2 minute walk and the citadel is only a 5 minute walk. Sophie and Mathieu were lovely to deal with

Perfect place to visit Carcassone!

Pros: The location is amazing, as it is right below the castle, and you can see it beautifully lit up at night from the bedroom window. The apartment had everything that we needed, and was perfect for our short stopover. I also picked up some free croissants from the host in the morning (they have a grocery shop just around the corner from the apartment), which was really nice.

Cons: Finding a parking place was a real challenge (we stayed in August, which I guess is peak season), bear this in mind if you are arriving by car. In the end, after lots of driving around, we were lucky to find a place quite close to the apartment.

Pros: Excellent facilities, clean and comfortable, so close to the Cite Médiévale, the lovely hosts (who own the épicerie just around the corner) could not have been more helpful, arranging secure bike storage in the garage, free croissants in morning ! A great find

Pros: We had a perfect weekend in Carcassonne. Staying at this property was a large part of the success - the place is perfect for a group of friends. We enjoyed the common space for playing games, eating breakfast, or having an apero on the couch. The owners gave us a map and plenty of recommendations 👌 and we even received complimentary viennoiseries. You can see the chateau from the top bedroom window. It's located so close to the citadel! On a calm street, but nearby to all necessary things like groceries (even on a Sunday), restaurants, pharmacy, ATM, bars.

Great location and comfy cottage.

Pros: We loved the location of this cute cottage. It was very special to see the castle and ramparts lit up at night from our bedroom window. The cottage was spacious, spread over two levels, (plus the entrance level) nicely decorated and felt like home. Walking distance, literally under 5 mins and you are at the foot of the Castle and 'Cite' entrance. A few good grocery shopping options around, including the host's cute shop which is well stocked with fresh produce and things you need. We loved our stay here. We stayed in Winter, and found free parking in the street easily.
