Gîte au pied de la Cité Médiévale - Le 127

Pros: It's a beautifully decorated, very well presented gite in a fabulous location. It's well-equipped with thoughtful touches such as providing cooking oil, coffee and tea-bags. All very comfortable, with a wonderful terrace. We loved our stay and wish we had booked for longer.

Cons: There's nothing at all not to like

Sweet little studio with a fabulous view of the cite.

Pros: A very sweet and stylish studio apartment within a stone's throw of the old city walls. Great decor, comfortable bed, great shower and a spacious, well covered balcony. We didn't need to cook but there were adequate facilities if we had done so. We only communicated with the owner, Marianne, via messaging but she was very responsive and helpful.

Cons: The pillows on the bed were square continental style and a bit soft, but that's just personal taste and not a real problem. The toilet door was very creaky, a bit of an issue in the middle of the night! Otherwise it was perfect!

Pros: Great location. Close to the city. Small but has everything that you will need.

Pros: Great apartment for a long weekend in carcassonne. Location was fantastic, strolling distance to all amenities and attractions. Apartment itself was very comfortable. Decor was lovely. We'll equipped kitchen. Great balcony! Lovely views. Communication with host was very good. Had a small leak in bathroom which was promptly rectified. Would receommend.

Cons: No hand towel or tea towel to use. Which is odd for self catering. Used up lots of the kitchen roll because of this!

Great taste, great execution

Pros: Great location, the view from the terrace was amazing, exactly as pictured. The host was very helpful and welcoming. The flat is designed and decorated with great taste, we literally looked up the brand of each object for our own housing project. The welcoming booklet is a really nice touch.

Cons: Not about the property itself, but the welcoming booklet mentioned that the nearby restaurant called “La Rapière” served breakfast - I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there. Overpriced with awful coffee and juice. Better off staying in using the great espresso machine and getting a baguette in the small convenience store of the same street,

Cons: Access through a garage and up steep stairs,can be a little tricky for older people But definitely worth it.
