Fantastic location!

Pros: Fantastic location, short walk to the medieval city and short walk to the lower city. The apartment was well stocked with tea/coffee and wine! Beds were super comfortable and great hot shower too. Fab view of the city from the apartment balcony, close to lots of local restaurants. The host was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this apartment.

Perfect place to relax and explore beautiful Carcassone.

Pros: Quiet, well positioned apartment with a gorgeous view of the medieval city from a sunny balcony. Well appointed, comfortable beds and easy walk to restaurants etc. Bruno is a great host and met us to show us around and provide a map and some good restaurant recomendations. We felt well looked after.

Cons: It was up 2 flights of stairs but not an issue for us.

Great accommodation in a superb and scenic location

Pros: Fantastic 3 night stay in Carcassonne’s best location. Bruno is a knowledgeable and welcoming host who has his accommodation down to a fine art. Everything we needed and great value. We were fortunate enough to have the two bedroom top floor apartment which was spacious, comfortable beds (aircon in both rooms is terrific), modern kitchen and, best of all, the spacious balcony with incredible views of the fortress. Highly recommended! Bruno even managed to nab a free parking spot for us directly across from the apartment. The street itself provides a wide range of eateries and it’s a short walk to the fortress in one direction and another short walk into the old town. Vibrant area but quiet and peaceful inside the apartment.

Cons: Yes, the accommodation is up some steep stairs. But the reward is a great view of the castle, made even better by the fact you have a little terrace to sit on to enjoy the view.

Great few days stay.

Pros: Bruno was very helpful with suggestions of restaurants and attractions. Everything was in the apartment that we needed. Couldn’t be a better location.

Cons: It’s not the apartment for you if you have mobility issues. There are many steps up and they are steep.

Brilliant apartment in a great part of Carcassone. What a place!

Pros: Everything. A perfect location and a modern and spacious apartment. Air conditioning in both bedrooms which was crucial in the heat. Our host Bruno was very friendly and informative.

Perfect balcony view

Pros: Fantastic location, balcony with amazing view of the medieval citê and a short walk up to entrance. Also next to local restaurants on lively Rue Trivalle and pont vieux for crossing into rest of town. Bruno was a great host, and our firework viewing from balcony a spectacular success.

Cons: Everything was fine. For info, the free street parking outside is shut for 24 hrs over 14 July, but it was easy to park a few streets further out for the duration.

Magical!

Pros: A wonderfully comfortable apartment in a central location, an easy walk both to the medieval city and the main town, including the canal du midi for boat trips. Bruno is a great host and gave us some great tips for our stay. We have travelled extensively around the world and can honestly say the view from the balcony is in our top 10. Simply magical.

Cons: Nothing.
