Perfect Carcassonne break location

Pros: Beautiful house, clean and a very comfortable bed. Useful location near the station. Breakfast consisted of a variety of cheeses and cold meats, croissants and baguette and lovely coffee. Fresh aroma pervaded the house. Katy and Olivier made our stay complete with their local knowledge and friendly conversation.

First class accommodation offering atmospheric charm and excellent service.

Pros: Looking for tasteful and delightfully refurbished place to stay in Carcassonne with lots of charm, then look no further. Overlooking the Canal du Midi the property is well situated for exploring the Bastide as well as the Cité- with local transport nearby as well as parking. Katie and Olivier provide you with a really warm welcome and lots of advice about the local area. The breakfast is delicious and attentively served by our hosts.

Cons: There is nothing to dislike about Maison du Canal.

A wonderful first stop on our stay in Carcassonne!

Pros: Fabulous location close to the station and Bastide. Lovely room and great shower. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Hosts Kate and Olivier were welcoming and helpful with their recommendations.

Pros: Such a fabulous property. So tastefully and beautifully decorated- everything to such a high standard. If you’re looking for an authentic stay in France then look no further

Pros: Authentic stay in the most beautiful building, exceptional breakfast in the courtyard with local food, homemade foot and very experienced hosts, their years of experience in hospitality really shines through. Lots of tips and recommendations for our stay in carcasonne. We will be back for sure !
