Teally enjoyed stay in carcassonne. The host was very helpful.

Pros: Exceptionally clean, spacious and all new fittings/shower/ kitchen. Location perfect. Walking distance to station and walled city,In centre of old town

Cons: If you have large suitcases getting up to unit via staircase may be difficult.

Lovely place to stay when visiting Carcassonne

Pros: Location for us as perfect, close to the square and the old bridge to the Medieval city

Perfect apartment for a city break

Pros: Great apartment. Spotlessly clean, modern, good shower, everything you need. Smart TV so can watch Netflix etc. Central location for the new town. Would stay again.

Cons: Nothing major, same as other reviews, steep stairs up to 3rd floor. Ok for us but some could struggle. Pillow was quite flat and they couldn’t provide more, had to put a cushion underneath. Couldn’t check in until 5pm which is quite late. It was October when we stayed and we had the fan on, there’s no air con so might be quite warm in peak season.

Brilliant base for visiting Carcassone

Pros: -pod coffee machine with some pods -fold out sofa bed was very comfy and easy to use -location brilliant, centre of town -well decorated, simple but nice

Cons: -apartment on 3rd floor, up some precarious steps. Not an issue for us however potentially could be for people

Pros: There were two sets of codes which were needed- one for the main door to the apartments and another for the apartment itself. These codes were sent to my phone by email via the secure Booking.com system. The main problem was finding the number on the door as it is written very small near the knocker in chalk. I walked past it before realising that I had gone too far! The apartment itself was very stylish and there was a great attention to detail. It was fully equipped and there were even coffee pods for the coffee machine. I was travelling alone and felt very safe.

Cons: I hadn't realised how difficult it would be getting my luggage up the 60 winding stairs to the apartment! Also, although the location is very good with easy access to both the station and the castle, the apartment is on the main pedestrian street above a cafe so it can be quite noisy until late in the evening. I had been worried about the refundable deposit but it was indeed refunded/not charged.

Pros: The property is well located, very clean and well maintained. The owner was very quick at responding and let us checking in 5 hours early for no fee. Exceptional customer service.

Cons: It was very hot in France when we visited and there was no air con, however fans provided. No lift and 3 floors up steep stairs so for able bodied people, no issue for us.

A wonderful stay in a wonderful apartment in a wonderful location.

Pros: The apartment was very spacious and gave a real home from home experience. It had all mod-cons, WiFi, TV (with streaming channels), fully equipped kitchen (fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, cooker, dishwasher) and utensils (pots & pans, cutlery, crockery, glasses & cups). The bathroom had a wonderful shower with a washing machine & clothes airer, hair-dryer, and there was also an iron and small ironing board for use also. For warm days, there's 2 great fans, one in the sitting room and the other in the bedroom. It was very well decorated, maintained and cleaned and the location is second to none, as it is right in the heart of Carcassonne and within walking distance to everything that it has to offer, including bus and train options. Communication with the hosts was great and I very much appreciated an early check-in that they allowed me to avail of.

Cons: Although it wasn't an issue for me personally, the apartment is on the 3rd floor, with no lift, and a spiral staircase to deal with. So, it might be a challenge for others, but so worth it when you reach the summit. :)

Pros: Es muy espacioso y está bien distribuido. La calefacción funciona perfectamente. La cama es cómoda. Ubicación muy buena, cerca del centro y del aparcamiento.

Cons: Es un tercero sin ascensor. En caso de dificultades de movilidad puede ser un problema.

Pros: Ubicación perfecta. Apartamento muy acogedor, con cocina equipada.
