Perfect for 1 night short drive to historic village

Pros: Beautiful reno of a terraced house on outskirts of Carcassonne. About a 15-20 minute easy stroll to the castle. We found it very clean, modern and quiet. No noise from street as double glazed. Kitchen was really nicely done and a lovely bonus. Transport options seemed limited in this city but parking outside apartment was easy and the ring road was great for avoiding city traffic . Lots of nice restaurants near the castle. Felt safe walking back at night. We stayed in the double bedroom and thought it was fabulous value for money. Totally don't know how others found it below a 8/10 really disagree with their ratings. Yes the shower silica needs replacing but that was all and it was a nice big shower with good pressure so just don't look at the floor! Highly recommend.

Pros: Cozy and spacious apartment in a walking distance to the main attractions in Carcassone. Very attentive hosts, willing to adapt to our family needs. Nice grocery shop just next to it, so it is super easy to arrange fresh bread, fruit, local cheese,…

Cons: Rooms facing the Main Street might get noisy. Other rooms, on the other side, are very quiet.

Pros: Short notice booking as part of a France road trip.

Pros: Very comfortable and nicely furnished apartment with delightful patio.

Pros: The breakfast room and outdoor seating area. Quiete area with food shops and a supermarket nearby.

Pros: Lovely accommodation. Very spacious with a great wee kitchen, dining.

Pros: The property was easy to fine, clean and spacious. It had a good comunal kitchen - with fridges, a microwave and plenty of plates and bowls, although we only used the plates and cutlery. Our room had a small terrace which was a bonus as the weather was so good we ate outside.

Cons: We were three adults and only two short towels and a hand towel were provided. A third large he towel would have been nice.

Pros: Beautiful apartment. Very helpful host. Gave us a fab recommendation for the best restaurant nearby. Would recommend for location, parking and comfort. Cosy and well furnished. Kitchen was really handy and stocked with tea cofee and cereals.would recommend this lovely place.

An excellent property

Pros: The property/room was as described. The location was near the town centre and we walked to the airport (although at times there was no footpath). There was air conditioning unit in the room which was needed. The kitchen was an excellent bonus. We enjoyed meeting other guests.

Cons: Nothing.
