Pros: Brilliant location adjacent to medieval Carcassonne and only 20 mins walk from the even older city. Very comfortable and well equipped Perfect base for exploring

Pros: We didn’t have time for breakfast and the position was just right .

Cons: Only because I’m 6ft 4 the bed could have been bigger and was far too soft for me , it’s not a complaint just what I like

We loved our stay in Carcassonne - lovely Gite in a great location with lovely hosts.

Pros: Lisa and Chris were very welcoming, the gave us some great recommendations on local restaurants and things to do. The Gite was in a great location, walking distance to everywhere, and had everything you could possibly need for a fantastic stay.

Cons: The only negative, and this a personal preference, was that the bed was too soft.

Great place to stay whist visiting carcassonne

Pros: Impeccable cleanliness, convenient location, lots of attention to detail, and gracious hosts.

Pros: I spent a most comfortable and delightful week in the adjoining gite to Salut Chambre D'hote. On several mornings I joined the other guests in the dining room for breakfast. We had the opportunity to sample Lisa's delicious homemade banana bread. Chris and Lisa are sociable, kind and caring hosts. They also provide a pick up service from Carcassonne for a small fee. The property is situated in an area within easy walking distance to the train station, canal and the beautiful old town of Carcassonne. This area is a lovely and most interesting part of Southern France. Thank you Chris and Lisa for your hospitality.

Beautiful apartment in a great location, with fabulous hosts.

Pros: Fabulous location for access to La Bastide, full of bars & restaurants. Lots of chic boutiques and an amazing market on Saturday morning. 30 min walk takes you to La Cite where you can explore the old town & medieval castle with so much to see … recommend the little train to learn about the history of Carcassonne. Lisa & Chris are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them, lovely welcome with thoughtful touches such as baguette, water & a few toiletries left by previous guests. Beautiful B&B which I would absolutely recommend and won’t hesitate to stay there again!

Cons: The bed was too soft for our comfort but that’s a personal preference.
