L'Echauguette

Pros: Lovely property in an excellent location. Stylish house, spotlessly clean, , kitchen well stocked with cutlery, crockery & utensils, comfy beds, lovely garden area with views of the castle - photos do not do it justice!

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: The location is always paramount to any trip.. As the sayin go's LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION.. and this is the best location iv had in 3 years in that area so we couldnt have been happier. However the property itself was original features and bespoke furniture that complimented each other throughout the property.

Great place to stay in Carcassonne

Pros: Liked being so close to centre and able to park car outside of home. Liked pool Liked large showers and sinks in bathroom Local contact was helpful and quick to respond

Cons: Hard to find initially, but once you realise you can swing barrier open at entrance to road and drive down it, dispise what the sat nav says it's fine. Only one toilet upstairs with door opening inwards it was cramped to get into. Having no washing machine even though this is listed on amenities list

A really lovely house in a fabulous location - a very strong recommend!

Pros: The property was in a perfect location - the photos don't really do it justice in articulating quite how well located it is for exploring the whole of Carcassonne (5-6 minutes walk up to the Medieval Cité, and 10 minutes into La Bastide Saint-Louis). The combination of the pool and the air conditioning worked to keep us all cool, the kitchen is well furnished, and there were some excellent nearby restaurants.

Cons: There isn't a washing machine, though there is a launderette very near by. And lovely tiles everywhere does mean if you're clumsy like we are, it's easy to accidentally smash a glass!

Wonderful stay. Would definitely return.

Pros: Location of the villa was excellent. Everything on your door step. The only thing I would say is that the villa could have some comfortable outdoor furniture.

Casa a las faldas de la Cité.

Pros: Ubicación, casa grande, 3 baños con ducha (no WC), mesa amplia, las vistas a la Cité, y zona para dejar el coche gratis.

Cons: La calefacción es por aire acondicionado, y en la planta baja no se acaba de calentar, por lo que pasas frío y el aire se hace incómodo. Reservamos 2 noches 3 días 6 personas y solo nos facilitaron 2 rollos de papel en total, por lo que escribimos a la propietaria pensando que habría más en algún sitio que no encontrábamos y comento que no. Que si queríamos teníamos que comprarlo nosotros. Nos pareció que 2 rollos para 6 personas era totalmente insuficiente, ya que al ser 2 noches, solo nos duro 1 y tuvimos que comprar un paquete entero para solo otra noche más. No hay lavadora, a pesar de estar especificado que sí hay. Para subir a la primera planta, donde están las habitaciones, las escaleras son estrechas, no aptas para personas con movilidad reducida. Hay solo dos WC, uno arriba y otro abajo. El de arriba es muy estrecho y la puerta se abre hacia adentro, por lo que es complicado de acceder.

Bonita casa con vistas preciosas a la cité.

Pros: La casa es muy bonita y está decorada con mucho gusto. La ubicación es ideal. Camas muy cómodas.

Cons: Arriba en las habitaciones se estaba calentito, pero abajo en la cocina y en el comedor pasamos frío. No se calentaba. Unas mantas en el sofá nos hubieran ido bien y alguna estufa.

Pros: - facilité pour la prise des clefs - l'établissement correspond à la description faite et à notre attente - situation géographique idéale et vue imprenable sur le mur d'enceinte - piscine encore fonctionnelle - possibilité de parquer un véhicule de grande hauteur devant la porte de l'établissement

Cons: - le lave-vaisselle était encore rempli du dernier occupant - de la sciure provenant de la charpente bois située dans une chambre se trouvait sur le lit à notre arrivée

We loved our stay and will book again when we return to France.

Pros: We loved the huge eating area and how the old city was right there and we could walk to it. The air conditioning was amazing!! We all loved how cool It was. We used the pool Both days. Really enjoyed seeing the city lit up at night so close!!

Cons: We weren’t exactly sure how to get there.

Espectacular la casa

Pros: La ubicación de la casa, cerca de la cité, de la calle principal de restaurantes y bares, cerca del pont vieux, para cruzar al otro lado. La vivienda tiene todos los detalles para disfrutar, jardín, piscina, es una casa reformada entera, no le falta detalle de nada, cocina con todo tipo de accesorios, las habitaciones amplias con cuarto de baño cada una. La zona del comedor amplía para estar en familia. Hemos estado 5 días y hemos estado de lujo. Las fotos no se aprecia lo que en realidad es la casa, es mejor verla en persona.
