Maison face à la cité

Super clean, friendly host, view over city! A pleasant surprise.

Nice stay with a great view!

Pros: We booked quite late; on the same day as wel arrived. This was no problem for the host. We arrived around 10:30 PM and she was still happy to receive us and explain how everything worked. She was also very friendly and spoke English well! The view on the city from the window/balcony was also very nice, and it really is at walking distance of the city: within 10 minutes you are inside the city (which is open day and night for free!). The bed was comfy, and the room had A/C, so it was very comfortable.

Cons: On a hot day, specifically the shower/bathroom was very hot and humid, even with the window open. Checkout was also quite early at 9:30 AM (which was not really a problem for us, but just something to be weary of).

Nice place in Carcassonne with a beautiful view at the castle

Pros: We took the room with the balcony and the view at the castle. The building is a old builiding, so it has a limited space for the rooms and facilities. On the other hand thishouse gives you a nostalgic feeling. The rooms are small, but friendly equpied, there are cupboards in the room, where you can hand your clothes. There are narrow stairs that lead to the kitchen and to the rooms in the next etage. In the kitchen there are goods for making tea and coffee, there is also a fridge. There is one bathroom, which is a shared one. It is clean but limited in space due to the architecture of the building. The host is a friendly woman. Key handover is uncomplicated, possible also when the host is not at home.

Cons: The double bed seem to have weak scaffolding parts made of chipoards, but it is ok for two persons for normal sleep.

1 night stay - very satisfied

Pros: Very friendly and helpful host Very comfortable bed and linen Great view on the Cité Great shower (it is shared but that info is known before) I stayed for one night, but it would also be good for a couple of days to visit the city.

Great location in Carcassonne

Pros: Lovely balcony medium sized room with view of medieval cité just a 10 mins walk away. Shared bathroom was well appointed. Car parked on street in a cul de sac.

Beautiful view and friendly lady

Pros: The view of the castle! Air con/heating was a bonus and the bed was comfy. Good wifi

Cons: The doors are a bit funny to lock but easy enough once you get the hang of it.

Pros: - the room is really big and clean. - good location to see the castal as beautiful view from 3rd floor - The staff (owner) of house very kind, helpful and cute. - Parking area in front of the building and easy to walk to the castal around 5 minutes. - Share bathroom and toilet but everything is very perfect and clean. - Kitchen room can used.
