La Douce Occitane - Maison climatisée pour 6

Pros: The property felt homely. A long stay there would be very easy to do. The beds were comfy. The linen was hotel quality. The kitchen was more than fully equipped. The property had been recently renovated so it was quite good. The air con was able to make the house comfortable during a scorching heatwave

Cons: Accessing the property was difficult as I'm not a native French speaker most of the emails and messages were in French. There is a key box on the inside wall of the garden and the gate just would not open. I had to enter via the garage gate. There are some rose bushes on the edge of the garden wall with thorns that prick you as you' go in and out.. The code to the box was sent in an email but it was hard to find it could have been sent on the day of arrival with a simple subject line access code. Once inside I discovered that the air con is switched off at check out 11.00 and the outside temperature had been around 40°c so the house was quite hot. The front door is original and has unusual locks it didn't feel very secure. The garden at the rear has great sunshine in the mornings and would be nice to sit out in but unfortunately, it was lacking somewhere to relax. It was just mud. It would benefit from a patio or a deck being installed. There is an old conservatory to the rear which is spoiling the garden area. It just acts as a greenhouse overheating the kitchen area. If the conservatory were not there the property would benefit.

Attractive comfortable house.

Pros: Well equipped. Tastefully decorated. Well placed for access to theatre. The bus to the city is very close.

Cons: The house was a little cold the first night. Shops were distant for walking, on the other side of railway line. I did not like the request for a review before the deposit was refunded. The deposit was refunded without problem.

Pros: Très belle location, un peu excentré du centre mais pas de soucis. L'endroit est très calme, Les chambres sont spacieuses et les équipements très satisfaisants l'ensemble est bien entretenu, et propre. Je recommande cette location

Cons: 1 douche a l'Etage 1 wc au RDC
