Great 5 Days Escape to Carcassonne!

Pros: The accommodation was very spacious and situated in a nice, quiet location near bus stops 1 and 6, providing excellent connections to the town. Although we took an Uber from the airport, there is a great pizza place just around the corner, and a supermarket and bakery within a 5-minute walk. The plunge swimming pool is larger than depicted in the photos, and I enjoyed using the BBQ facilities. I had everything I needed to cook meals. The internet connection was fast and reliable, and there were three smart Android TVs installed in the house. Carcassonne has so much to offer, but if you want to explore the nearby beautiful medieval villages, be prepared to drive, as there are no buses to those locations. The accommodation owners were fantastic, communicating promptly and effectively. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return!. Merci 🙏 🇫🇷🍷🥳

Just fabulous. We didn’t want to leave

Pros: If we could give more than 10 on every aspect we would. Absolutely everything has been thought about and provided. Even down to a bottle of wine. The house is nice, tidy and spacious and a nice walk into town. I was able to park my motorbike in the garden. The plunge pool was a delight. We wished we could stay longer.

Beautiful, relaxing home from home

Pros: Very well-equipped, great sized garden for our dog. Beautiful walk a stone’s throw away along the Aude to the medieval city. 5 minutes from lots of shopping centres and 15 minutes to the stunning Lac de Cavayere.

Cons: Nothing!

Charming house to explore Carcasonne

Pros: Nice charming house! The kitchen and toilet were nicely renovated. We were able to cook a nice meal. There’s a Carrefour nearby.

A wonderful stay!

Pros: It was spacious and had a beautiful garden. The pool was a nice touch too and even a garage and laundry room.

Pros: the bed was comfortable, the shower powerful and the garden lovely.

Cons: sometimes hard to find a parking space.

Carcasonne Accommodation, Perfect!

Pros: Fabulous accommodation! Like being at home. The pool is tiny but pure bliss after a day sightseeing in the heat. The kitchen was well stocked so we ate in every night. The back outside area was gorgeous! Washer and dryer were in great order, so all the washing got done while we had a lovely bottle of Rosè. Perfection! The hosts are only a text away, and we're happy to answer any questions.

Cons: The location is a little far. We could not get bus or taxi from the train station so we walked. Not any cafes or supermarkets within 1km. But that really didn't bother us too much. The toilet seat was not secure. Other than that, all was pretty perfect.

Séjour très agréable comme à la maison

Pros: Ce logement est une pépite en équipement : rien ne manque . Tout était très propre, le jardin très agréable et clôturé . La literie est de bonne qualité . La maison est spacieuse , calme, la salle de bain assez grande, la buanderie dans l’arrière cour un plus. Les bords de l’Aude sont à 5 min à pied pour rejoindre la cité médiévale à pied . Bref une très bonne adresse pour visiter la région . Merci pour les petites attentions à l’arrivée .

Pros: La casa, su distribución y el patio estaban genial, que lastima que el tiempo fue fresco para nosotros, y no pudimos hacer uso de la piscina y el jardin.

Cons: La ubicación para ir al centro de Carcasone y la cite están lejos para ir con niños. Y no tener candado en la puerta de entrada da inseguridad.

Pros: Très bien située. Maison agréable avec clim et petite piscine pour se rafraîchir. Les petites attentions prévues (bouteille, nougats, messages sympas..) sont un plus.
