Comfortable home close to everything

Pros: A comfortable home close to the old city, easy to walk in. Unfortunately we only had one night but could have easily stayed a few. Plenty of room for 5 adults. Would be amazing in summer with plenty of private outdoor space

Beautiful sunsets, tranquil garden, and a truly exceptional location.

Pros: The location is truly exceptional – just a 4–5 minute walk from the outer walls of Carcassonne. From the terrace you can watch the sun set over the rolling countryside, with the silhouette of two castle towers on the horizon – a magical sight. The house itself is large and comfortable, with everything in order and the AC working perfectly. What I loved most was the atmosphere: despite a nearby hotel where a party and children played until late, the house and garden felt like a peaceful retreat, calm and serene, a place where you can really relax. I would wholeheartedly recommend Les Pimprenelles to anyone wanting to explore Carcassonne or simply unwind for a tranquil weekend. I would happily return in the future.

Great location and pleasant stay

Pros: Great location, very quiet, just a short walk from the walls of Cité de Carcassonne . Spacious accommodation . Parking right next to the property, even for our large car . Functional air conditioning, which was very helpful during the hot day and night .

Cons: - Finding the key box required a phone consultation; the accommodation has two entrances, and we couldn't find ours - The kitchen is very simply equipped, and there are no large glasses or cups. - The fridge is noisy, but fortunately, it cannot be heard from the bedroom. - The toilet is on the ground floor, while the bedroom and bathroom are upstairs, which may be uncomfortable for some people. - We did not notice in the description that the third room is in a separate building a short distance from the main house; it has its own facilities and air conditioning. It didn’t bother us, but we didn’t know about it in advance.

Great for the summer

Pros: Very new and modern, the bathrooms and rooms were Great. There was central Air Conditioner that worked perfectly in the summer. Everything was very clean as well, highly recommended.

Location location location!

Pros: The location was perfect! The old town is just up the hill from the house so was very easy to access. The house has been renovated really nicely and it was clean and welcoming. The terrace outside was a nice addition too.

Cons: The lack of oven. We arrived late from a long drive from Provence and had bought quick oven food to cook upon arrival but unfortunately had to throw it all away as we were not able to cook it.

Pros: Excellent location near the castle approx 5 min walk. House perfect for our needs.

Magic place very close to la Cité

Pros: The house, the tranquility of the location, the additional building with bedroom en suite, the garden area, the easy going car parking, the Terrasse with view of parts of the Cité, foot walk to la Cité is 5 mins. Excellent location. We come back again.

Cons: Could not manage the TV to work but it was not a problem. The only toilet near the kitchen/dining area feels a bit strange so we also used the toilet in the out building. The toilet upstairs would be the 10 out of 10 for this location...

Pros: A stunning, completely updated property with an enclosed garden. Very quiet, comfortable beds, bright, exceptionally clean! Each bedroom has its own bath/shower room. Five minutes walk from the walled city and all its delights. The host was very responsive to questions. Truly the best property I have stayed in on Booking.com! Will stay again.

Pros: The accomodation was comfortable with an open plan living area leading onto an outdoor terrace, which made for a sociable space. Only a short 5 minute walk into the Cite. The proprietor kindly accommodated an earlier check-in and check-out, which was much appreciated.

Cons: No toilet upstairs near to the bedrooms, but this wasn't a major problem, and certainly wouldn't prevent us from returning.
