Great holiday home

Pros: So much space. Well equipped. Great location for the old cite.

Cons: No music player.

A fantastic venue for a city break, in close proximity to the delights of Carcassonne

Pros: The location is unbeatable - views of the Citadel from the master bedroom and the outdoor dining table. The host was very friendly, with excellent English. The house is well laid out and can easily accommodate a family of four or even two families of four (at a push). The proximity to both the medieval part of the city and the Bastide is great - everything is walkable. There is a wonderful boulangerie nearby that does terrific pastries and a small grocery store only 5 minutes away. The restaurants in the citadel offer a great variety (though a little limited for our non-cheese eating vegetarian daughter!).

Cons: The property itself was really comfortable and lovely, but it would have been great to have been provided with a cloth for cleaning, some hand soap, and just a few dishwasher tablets.

Highly recommended

Pros: Close to Medieval city, great hot tub but agree with some previous comments stating it would be better outside. There are a few minor design issues ie no toilet paper holders in the bathroom or downstairs toilet. The cooker is in a strange position, the microwave doesn’t function properly, the kettle just about balances on the tray, lack of information on recycling, no bulbs in some of the lamps. But this didn’t stop us enjoying the property that is so conveniently located. We had a great three nights stay.

Pros: Clean, well equipped, great location and helpful staff

Cons: Air con was downstairs only and the heat upstairs was immense in August.

Cons: we had problems with hot water and an ant invasion but was resolved as soon as reported so was out of their control but very good service

Fantastic facilities right next to the medieval city

Pros: Everything, friendly staff who checked us in early, lovely villa, clean rooms, excellent location and the new hot tub!

Quite simply, this property exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

Pros: The property was very clean, tidy and as described. The location was fantastic, right next to the medieval walled city.

Cons: The TV was old and although is was supposedly a 'smart' TV, it was not connected to the internet. This was a very minor point as everything else was superb.

Three great days in Carcassonne

Pros: We spent 3 nights here on a family vacation, we saw all of Carcassonne old city, the art museum, Cabrespine Cave and Lastours ruins. The location is unbeatable, it is a 5 minute walk to the City walls and you can see the towers from the house. All the bedrooms are large and comfortable, the kitchen and living room are also large and have all the amenities you need. The patio is great (although we couldn't use it in March, it was too cold and windy). The private parking space is also large and useful.

Cons: Everything was good, but if we have to mention details that were not perfect: - the hot tub is large and wonderful, but it is located in a closed room with no windows/views - we only received one key to the house, which can make things complicated with a party of seven people.

Pros: La ubicación es de primera. En 2' exactos andando, llegas a la cité medieval.

Cons: Aunque la casa es increíble, creo que el precio es un poco alto.
