A good opportunity to stay within the walls in lovely rooms

Pros: A wonderful hotel within the walls with a really good dinner offering. No breakfast but (unusually for a french hotel) they do have coffee and tea making facilities and there is lovely boulangerie next to the Basilica which is a two or three minute walk. We had a suite which was huge!

Overall very happy with the stay

Pros: Great location and thanks for being able to leave our bags after check for later collection.

Cons: A light bulb was missing to the lamp on the bedside table. No spoons for the hot drinks

A quirky place in an incredible location

Pros: Absolutely unbelievable location. The apartment is lovely. Really comfortable and an exciting place to stay. Quirky.

Very nice hotel different

Pros: No breakfast is served at this hotel but it was very quiet both inside and outside so we had a good nights rest

Pros: Location excellent if you don’t mind carrying bags into castle etc.

Cons: Nothing. Note if you get there a bit earlier there is a number on door to call as 4.30pm is way too late check in for weary travellers. Note also you are above a restaurant so expect noise in evening, didn’t worry us.

Pros: the room is all you could expect, clean and comfortable

Cons: Do not be fooled by the door with Auberge des Lices written all over it, that is not the entrance. Go to the door to the left which seems like the restaurant entrance. Here you will find a notice with early arrival instructions

Great location just walked out of the door and you were emerald in the feel of the medieval town

Pros: It was in the old city walls the rooms were massive, and the building was medieval.

Cons: Nothing, please remember they don’t advertise it as a hotel as it’s above a restaurant. We were there over Friday and Saturday and was a bit noisy but it didn’t bother us.
