Pros: Beautiful place to stay, great location with very friendly staff.

Pros: Perfect location to explore the whole of Carcassonne. Great host, warm welcome, huge room and a great breakfast in a friendly environment with all the other guests.

Highly recommend staying in this charming, well located boutique hotel.

Pros: Lovely spacious contemporary room. Varied breakfast options. Wonderful location and attentive hosts.

Cons: I’m not a fan of glass walls separating showers from the main room. If the room door was open anyone on the landing could look straight into the shower. However I recognise this is a matter of taste.

Pros: Beautiful rooms and lovely breakfast. Great location for both the old and new towns. Would happily stay again.

Small comfortable hotel in a great location with a friendly, 'homely' feel.

Pros: Good location in between the castle / old town and the more modern town area. Plenty of restaurants nearby and within easy walking distance. Nice courtyard area and lounge seating area. Both the owner and the manageress were pleasant and very helpful. Not too expensive either !

Cons: Breakfast choice was rather limited although what was there was nice enough. The eating area could feel rather cramped as most people ate around one large table. Nice if you like to eat close to others, but could be overwhelming for some people. Although the room was large and comfortable the view from our window was nothing special (just the empty buildings opposite) however it was quiet and very dark at night. Wi-fi signal wasn't great.

Pros: The 3 ladies running the place were lovely. They made sure we would have something for breakfast even if we were not on time. Also, they gave good conversation and recommendations. The breakfast was so good. Home-made choice of cakes! The room and the bathroom were spacious. It was very nicely decorated as well.The location was great not far from the ramparts of the medieval city.

Cons: Mostly excellent. I would only add coat hooks to the room. A little bedside table on both sides, and some lighting near the wardrobe with mirrors.

Our 4th visit and finally we’ve found the right place to stay, just not long enough

Pros: The property was beautifully set out and decorated with everything needed for our stay. Great location close to the old city and the new. So many good restaurants within a 10 min walk. The hosts were fantastic.

Cons: Nothing at all

Pros: Fabulous location for the old citie. Great restaurants along the street. Free parking really close by.

Cons: Breakfast was lovely, although the butter was rationed as though it was gold dust.

Huge rooms in a comfortable well located hotel with excellent breakfast

Pros: This hotel is located by the footbridge in the old town. The rooms are enormous and well appointed. It's slightly quirky as my room had a large bath in the room together with the sink, with the toilet in a separate small room. It's air conditioned and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast in continental style, but with excellent food and choice. There is a communal breakfast table, making breakfast a social occasion. The location is at the start of the road towards the walled city. There are many restaurants along this road. The walk to the walled city is 10 minutes.

Cons: There is some interesting art in the rooms!

Pros: -Beautifully decorated -Great location next to the medieval city -Breakfast - homemade cakes were so tasty and a welcome addition! -Catherine was very friendly and welcoming.

Cons: -Towels were a bit thin and smelt a little damp (like they’d not been dried properly) -The room we had was very noisy with people in the street throughout the night - not really the property’s fault but just to be aware of if you are disturbed easily -The shower was in the room with a screen for privacy. Didn’t really bother us but some may find this a little cozy!
