La maison de l'écluse

Pros: This was a gem, amazing situation with views over the canal, we were well l looked after, comfortable bed and lovely fresh breakfast.

Cons: Our only negative was reading the map incorrectly and finding ourselves on the other side of the canal.

A great place to stay when cycling the Canal du Midi

Pros: Located right on the canal path / cycle route yet only 5mins walk back into Trebes. Plenty of room and great modern bathroom with walk in shower. Good view over the canal Secure cycle storage at the property

Cons: The building is very old and there is a “lean “away from the canal which makes the stairs awkward to climb and descend. The bedroom floor also was not level BUT this did not stop or appreciation of the property or hospitality offered. And ( not a criticism but a suggestion) simple insect screens on the two windows in the room would have made sleeping at night more comfortable

Pros: The room is very nice. The place is fantastic for a night in the canal. We are in bikepak for the canal du midi. Safe parking for bikes. Very good breakfast and excelent host. Some restaurants cloose to the b&b

A great night’s sleep in a beautiful maison d’ecluse.

Pros: Lovely position overlooking the lock and far reaching views behind over countryside to mountains. Our room was very comfortable and clean, and our host was extremely charming and helpful.

Cons: Nothing, it was perfect.

Lovely stay by the canal

Pros: The property is right next to the Canal de Midi, with bars and restaurants within an easy walk. The hosts were very friendly.

Cons: The property was a little difficult to find - Google maps took us to the wrong side of the canal. A phone call to the owners helped us find the correct route.

Very good place to stop.

Pros: Lovely spot by three locks of the Canal du Midi. Good room and modern bathroom in former lock keepers house. Good breakfast on the terrace. Very friendly host.

Cons: Nothing really. A fan in the room might be a good thing in high summer.

Pros: Our host was very welcoming He had a secure place for our bikes. The house is absolutely charming our room was spotlessly clean the breakfast was served on his pretty terrace right next to the lock,which we also had a view from our room. We took a short walk to the port to have an evening meal. Would definitely recommend.

Pros: Chambre at accueil au top! Très bien placé face à l’écluse ! Local pour le vélo. Hote très sympas et de bon conseil quand on fait le canal en vélo.

Pros: L'hôte était très sympathique et à notre disposition. Cette personne connait beaucoup de chose sur l'histoire du canal et nous en a fait profiter. Petit déjeuner excellent
