A Chambre d'hote with a difference

Pros: Ingo has been running this Chambre d'hote for nearly 30 years, so he has it down to a fine art: the rooms are meticulously clean, albeit a little quirky, and the meals were fantastic with lots of local ingredients and clever flavour combinations. Of course, having done this for so long, he can also be a little idiosyncratic and set in his ways. But take this in the spirit that it is meant: he cares and he wants his services to be different from others.

Pros: Ingo was an excellent host, could not do enough for us. Room was lovely and so was the food A definite bonus was the dog and cat and the gorgeous 8 day old rescue puppy, Sofi. Ingo had a heart of gold, made us so welcome and was happy to help in anyway Ingo has an excellent knowledge of the area and it's history and have some great recommendations for days out and food

Cons: It was a shame the garden area was a bit over grown and not used as much as it could be. Such a fascinating place and Ingos knowledge is amazing and he made it really interesting. Could do a lot more with the gardens and giving tours of the mill etc

Excellent value for money in a wonderful unique environment

Pros: Beautiful setting, a uniquely restored water mill. Breakfast was out of this world; all fresh homemade regional produce. The host was extremely kind and helpful. I would love to come back one day!!

Pros: Lovely location by the river with lots of interesting history to the place. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Delicious evening meal and excellent breakfast.

Overnight stay while hiking the Cathar Way. Highly recommended.

Pros: Outstanding, Don't be put off by entrance. Bedrooms and breakfast room are immaculate. Thoughtful extras - fruit and sweets in the bedroom. Excellent breakfast. Helpful and attentive owner.

The perfect hideaway to get away from it all

Pros: Frederic is an excellent host. Spacious well furnished room and comfortable bed coupled with a quiet location and fabulous breakfast spread made for a relaxing two days. I shall stay here again.
