A privilege to be able to stay and enjoy such a wonderful place.

Pros: We loved our stay at Chateau de Sibra and it was a huge pleasure meeting Sibylle and discovering a remarkable place with a remarkable story. It is wonderful to be able to experience a property like this. The cleanliness was impeccable, the bedroom very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious, enjoyed with views to the Pyrenees!

Pros: We had the most magical stay at Château de Sibra — the perfect romantic escape. The setting is breathtaking, with serene gardens, historic charm, and artistic flair woven into every detail. Our room was spacious, beautifully styled, and incredibly peaceful. Each morning began with a delicious breakfast featuring homemade and local delights. What made our stay truly unforgettable was the exceptional hospitality of Sybille, the owner. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, sharing the château’s rich history and ensuring every moment was perfect. A truly special place that we can’t wait to return to.

Fantastic! Too bad we only booked 1 night! We will be back!

Pros: The location, the wonderful restored château, the restaurant and the breakfast (all fresh and local food products) were amazing ! Chef Rashid is a fantastic cook and a wonderful person! and so are the 2 ladies who served the dinner and the breakfast! We really felt at home! The views on the Pyrenees from the castle are fantastic and the whole environment invites you to get out and explore that very nice part of France!

Pros: We are impressed by the efforts made by Sybille in restoring the charm of the Château, including the hand-stamped wallpaper replicating the original patterns. The use of modern furniture in bedrooms brings out the character of this old building. Thanks to Isabelle and her team who went out all the way to make our stay comfortable. Both breakfast and dinner were remarkable, candlelit in an elegant room adorned with original decor. We specially like the early evening walk from the Château to the pond with wild flowers in May.

PERFEKTER ORT ZUM ENTSCHLEUNIGEN

Pros: Mit viel Liebe wurde alles renoviert ohne den alten Charme zu verlieren. Das Objekt hat einen riesigen, atemberaubenden Garten mit einem freien Blick über Hügel, schöne Bäume und einen Teich in die Berge und weiter einen märchenhaften Kräuter- und Gemüsegarten. Das Frühstück ist sehr individuell mit sensationellen Croissants. Wer will, kann (und man sollte!) das Abendessen wählen. Es gibt ein Überraschungsmenü und am Ende wird mit dem Koch über die Zutaten und die Zubereitung parliert. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut, regional und bio (wo möglich) und für derzeit 39€ sensationell preiswert (diese Qualität kostet in der Region leicht das Doppelte).

Pros: El sitio y las instalaciones eran perfectas, el desayuno fantastico. El personal del hotel super amable. Seguro que volvemos. Sitio perfecto para desconectar.

Cons: Habia justo una ola de calor en francia y hacia un poco de calor en la habitacion en la noche. Pero es normal dadas las temperaturas que habia en la zona.

Die weitläufige Parkanlage ist ein Ort der Ruhe und Schönheit, liebevoll gepflegt und voller Details. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die persönliche Betreuung durch Sybille Thomke und ihr Team – warmherzig, aufmerksam und professionell. Der kulinarische Höhepunkt war das Menü von Rashid: kreativ, stimmig und auf höchstem Niveau. Ein ganz besonderer Ort, den wir von Herzen weiterempfehlen.
