Chambres d'Hôtes L'Orée des Bois

Pros: Super nice place. Arrived and left in the dark so cannot comment. Places to walk with the dogs. Nice sized room with well equipped shower. But towels a bit too small. Plenty drinks and kettle in room. Plenty toiletries. First place in France that I would go to again. Most in France are nasty quality. Good furniture and super kitchen to use with all facilities. Central heating in room. Bed ok. Small corridor to other 2 rooms but I was the only guest. Owner can access the area from an internal door. Might be too crowded if other guests so cannot comment. Surrounded by departmental roads and I drove from Beziers for about 40kms on D roads with ski poles so need to arrive with daylight. Did get a bit lost.

Tranquil overnight stay

Pros: Very quiet location just outside the village and not far from the river. There is a common facility with a log fire and we had a great breakfast. Location is very quiet

Cons: There is one restaurant within walking distance and we had the set menu which served up the toughest steak we have ever had in France - it might be worth travelling a little distance for a better choice!

Agréable séjour

Pros: Hôte très accueillante et aidante. Petit déjeuner copieux.

Pros: Bien recu , très belle maison, très grande salle à manger, chambre confortable et très propre,petit déjeuner complet très gourmand, prix très raisonnable

Cons: L'allumage intempestif de La lumière extérieure en l'absence de volet ou rideau, petit déjeuner tardif,

Au calme

Pros: Séjour très agréable, cuisine à dispo, bon accueil. Quand j'ai vu que la maison d'hôte était près d'une route j'avais peur que ce soit bruyant mais pas du tout, c'est très calme. Nous n'y avons passés que 2 nuits mais aurons bien aimé y rester un peu plus. Si nous revenons dans la région on y retournerait sans hésiter

Très bonne address, surtout excéllent rapport qualité/prix.

Pros: Très bon accueil, la gérante était charmante, la chambre très bien équippée, enfin tout était propre et dans un parfait état de marche. On ne peut pas demander plus!

Cons: C'est un peu difficile à trouver mais c'est probablement ma faute à moi.

Accueil chaleureux, lieu parfait pour une pause qui ressource, et excellent petit déjeuner.

Pros: Françoise qui m'a reçu est super gentille, la chambre est confortable et j'étais bien situé près de Burlats.
