We can’t wait to return to Villa de Mazamet

Pros: Lovely house, close to town centre, restaurants and shops. Swimming pool was great, gardens beautifully maintained. Geoffrey and Janice were amazing hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent. Breakfast plentiful and the dinner was superb - best chocolate soufflé ever!! Great wine list. Bedroom and bathroom were big, clean and very comfortable. If you have a car it’s a good area from which to explore other towns and villages.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect.

The perfect venue to spend our wedding anniversary

Pros: Geoffrey and Janice were the most attentive hosts and they couldn't do more for us. They literally catered to our ever need including booking us a table at a restaurant, preparing us a vegan breakfast, offering us a glass of blanquette by the pool when we arrived, finding a safe place for us to leave our bikes, leaving us an adaptor plug in the room in case we didn't have one... and so much more. It really was next level customer service -above and beyond. The property is stunning and the grounds immaculate.

Second stay at La Villa de Mazamet, already looking forward to our third!

Pros: Beautiful restoration, lovely bedroom, super welcoming hosts, excellent evening meal and breakfast, unexpected lovely spa.

Pros: Lovely historic hotel with very well appointed room. Building was beautiful inside and out. The hosts was charming and very friendly. Nice breakfast. Safe place for bikes in garage.

Cons: Nothing!

Geoffrey & Janice were the perfect hosts and there efforts were plainly visible and very much appreciated.

Pros: Everything. Period property with right balance of modern touches. Stunning decor and presentation. Superb breakfast with a overall personal touch which matched its well deserved higher end feel.

Pros: The whole building had been lovingly renovated , fixtures and fittings were beautiful Warm welcome from owner Was possible to walk into mazamet from the property

Cons: Breakfast wasn't served till after 8am The owner did offer to leave a breakfast platter in room night before for my husband who needed to leave at 7.30 am This consisted of piece of fruit and few pastries. Some fruit juice and yoghurt as well would have been nice. I think what was left was disappointing
