A most tranquil environment

Cons: Left waiting for an hour outside trying to communicate with Robyn. It seems that booking.com did not send the usual reminder to her. Typical booking.com. They have little interest in their customers once they have a confirmed booking. We will try to avoid using booking.com in the future.

Pros: Self-serve breakfast was great. It was unusually cool weather-wuse but our room was warm and the bathroom towel warmer-rad was very cozy.

Cons: The only bad thing was that it was very easy to hear someone talking on their phone outside. The room window wasn't even open, but we could hear everything. Otherwise, a great stay!

An exceptionally pretty room with a lovely view

Pros: Beautiful room, quiet at night. Right next to the canal, the restaurant recommended by the landlady was pretty good. This wasn’t the sort of place we normally stay, it was like a film about southern France, a bit unreal, and full of tourists, mostly English. Nevertheless we really liked it, it was relaxing, beautiful and fun

Cons: The breakfast was self service and all processed stuff (except the eggs which you can boil in a special gadget) so rather disappointing. If you want croissants or proper bread you can buy them at the little shop round the corner which sells more or less everything
