Perfect and peaceful

Pros: Thank you so much to Marie & Bernard for welcoming us to their beautiful home and guest house in Castelnau d’Aude. The accommodation was perfect, very peaceful and a lovely part of the countryside. The weather wasn’t on our side for the 5 days we were there unfortunately, but the pool and outside areas looks great for the usually perfect summer weather. Marie and Bernard were always available to assist us in booking restaurants, local tourist advice and flexible with our travel arrangements. Many thank and we hope to be back in a year or two! Merci

Delightful property, delightful hosts

Pros: Absolutely superb place to stay. A converted farm decorated in a traditional but cosy, tasteful and welcoming style. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Rooms are large and comfortable, bathrooms are equally large and very clean and tidy. There is a swimming pool, excellent private parking and good restaurants are a 10 minute drive away. Marie and a Bernard are the most gracious of hosts - kind, generous and a pleasure to spend time with. Marie’s breakfasts are a delight. Continental in style but varied and very filling. Served outside on the terrace overlooking the garden - a great start to every day. Cannot recommend this property highly enough. Do not hesitate - book it and enjoy your stay!

Idyllic stay in the heart of Minervois wine country

Pros: The friendliness of the hosts Marie and Bernard and their warm welcome made sure that our stay got off to a great start. The room was beautiful, breakfast in the garden in the shade of olive trees was wonderful, the pool and the gardens around it are stunning. The little touches such as the honour bar, the extra soft towels, shaded parking and even booking local restaurants for us, put this as one of the best Chambre d’hotes we have ever stayed in. Thank you Marie and Bernard.

Pros: Everything. It was a highlight stay. It's 100% perfect. It's clean, comfortable the hosts were amazing and genuinely beautiful people. Our breakfast was perfect, we also had dinner and it was so romantic! It's a faultless place with safe parking an amazing pool and the house simply takes your breath away it's so beautiful. The towels were the thickest I've ever used!

Pros: En premier, nos hôtes, Marie et Bernard qui ont été à l’écoute de nos besoins, au delà de nos attentes. Deux personnes raffinées et faisant preuve de savoir être. Le domaine est splendide, tout est parfait, chic, très propre et très confortable. Le petit déjeuner, comprenant les délicieuses confitures de Marie, était très bon.

The Perfect Stay - Wonderful!

Pros: We liked having a comfortable nest in a small working farm town isolated from the tourist hubbub yet within easy access. The hosts were friendly and generous, lending us their personal bikes so we could ride along the Midi. The breakfast was delicious and the clean pool was refreshing.

Cons: We loved everything.

Splendide maison, piscine et parc.

Pros: Jolie chambre calme et confortable dans splendide maison en pierre. Le petit-déjeuner, pris sur une agréable terrasse, était délicieux et copieux. Marie et Bernard, après nous avoir gentiment accueillis, ont été attentifs à nos besoins et ceci durant toute la durée de notre séjour. L’espace piscine et le parc sont très agréables et propices au repos. Restaurants, boulangerie et épicerie à environ 35 mn à pied.

Superbe week end pour découvrir le Minervois et les berges du canal du midi

Pros: Pas de boîte à clé mais un couple qui vous accueille dans sa maison. De plus en plus rare d’être accueilli de la sorte dans un lieu charmant ou TOUT est soigneusement ajusté pour le bien être de ceux qui passent le portail de cette propriété. Les restaurants conseillés ont probablement été testés avant d’être proposés, nous en avons fait l’expérience à deux endroits différents. J’ai également apprécié nos petites discussions sur un peu tout mais surtout de voyages. Merci à nos Hôtes, nous ne manquerons pas de revenir.

Cons: Le seul regret est de n’avoir pas eu le temps de rester un peu plus longtemps.
