Carcassonne Town House

Pros: Brilliant location, literally a minute's walk to place carnot and 10 minutes from the railway station.

Cons: Bathroom needs a bit of an update

Pros: Centrally placed and on the top floor above a wine shop. Alex, the owner of both, looked after us well and we had a fantastic wine tasting with him too.

Pros: Great apartment very comfortable in a convenient location, not very far from the railway station.

Pros: Excellent location, beautifully decorated and furnished apartment with lovely attention to detail. Loved the neighbourhood and only short walk to everything you need.

Cons: Could be noise from street but it is in the city centre.Difficult to keep cool at night but that's to be expected in July

Pros: A great location, beautiful apartment which was really well designed. Ample space and everything we needed to self cater. There was real attention to detail around what we might need, including the essentials for cooking, so no need to purchase. It was very clean and excellently appointed throughout.

Cons: Nothing.

Perfect apartment for single or a couple to chill in and step

Pros: Location was very close to the square with lots going on - bars restaurants shops, all On the doorstep. And a 20 min walk to the old town. A bit of bustle in the street but not so as to detract from the overall experience.

Charming apartment providing a fun local experience.

Pros: The apartment was absolutely charming and very comfortable. We loved the neighborhood. While the apartment was a 20-minute walk from the old city of Carcassonne, it was a minute away from a lovely square with loads of restaurant.

Cons: I can't think of anything I would have changed.

About as French as you can get, plus wine.

Pros: A very turn of the (last) century French chic building. The property is about 50m from Place Carnot, the buzzing square at the centre of the old town. It's only a 10min walk to the old bridge for great views of the magic. We think living in the old town is better - it's more real France than the fairy tale end of town! And all this above a vintner who offers excellent wine tasting!

Chic, restful home from home. Loved coming back after a full day of sightseeing
