A good stay, in a great location.

Pros: The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do in the region. The parking was excellent and the air conditioning was brilliant, as we arrived in a heatwave, with temperatures consistently in the high 30s. The gite is spacious and comfortable, with everything that we needed and nothing more. The decor and fittings are a little tired, but after a couple of days it felt quite homely. Our host didn't speak a word of English, but we muddled through using Google translate. Overall, a good stay.

Pros: Very clean. Well equipped. Excellent location for the lake. Easy to get to other tourist sites such as the medieval city. There was a children's playground just a minutes walk.

Cons: Only negative was having to drive everywhere, but we had expected that.

Pros: Un magnifique Appartement lumineux, très propre et très bien équipé. Tout est pensé dans le détail et il ne manque rien pour un bon séjour . L’hôte est discret et très accueillant . Le quartier est calme, à quelques km seulement de la Cité Médiévale et proche d’une base nautique.

Pros: Le propriétaire était là à notre arrivée pour nous accueillir et montrer le logement. Logement spacieux et très propre. Nous avons pu garer les 2 voitures. Le logement n'est pas très loin du lac, ballade au rdv.

Cons: Absolument rien, aucune déception.

Schöne Zeit, schöne Gegend, angenehme Fewo

Pros: Nette, einfache FeWo, Ausstattung gut. Schöner Blick in grüne Nachbarschaft, sehr ruhige Lage. Interessante Ziele im Languedoc sind mit Auto gut erreichbar. Spazieren gehen kann man auch. Ostern war eine gute Zeit für den Besuch, nicht heiss, üppige Natur. Einfache Übergabe, freundliche und schnelle Beratung durch den Besitzer. Viel Infomaterial über die touristischen Ziele in der Region. Parkplatz direkt am Haus.

Cons: Einige akzeptable Rahmenbedingungen, die man einplanen muss: Französische Sprachkenntnisse sind hilfreich. Man benötigt ein Auto. Nächster Supermarkt zehn Minuten entfernt, dafür Malls rund um Carcassonne. Keine Restaurants in der Nachbarschaft. 25 Euro für Schlussreinigung.
