Loved the central location and cosy vibe of this well equipped apartment. Five Stars for customer service from Jean Luc.

Pros: Fantastic location. Great facilities overall and good communication with Jean Luc.

Cons: Ideally, although not essential, could do with more pillows and wardrobe space.

A very enjoyable stay

Pros: The family of 3 (including 7 and 11 old) stayed here for 4 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location- brilliant, 5 minutes walk to the train station if you fancied a trip to Toulouse. 20 minutes walk to the medieval city. There are lots of restaurants and cafes on the square below. A choice of 2 supermarkets, 1 is literally across the square. Apartment- specious, easy to get in with the code to the locker with the key. Amenities- plenty of toilet paper(hooray!), toiletries, salt, oil and other bits for cooking if needed. The owner has kindly left a bottle of wine, a couple of soft drinks, crackers and sweets. A very good hairdryer in the bathroom. The beds even the sofa bed were comfy. I contacted Jean for some restaurant recommendations and got a quick answer with lots of choices. I would have stayed here again if I was coming back to Carcassonne.

Cons: A smell from the drains but I guess it is not easily fixed in the old city.

Pros: The location is perfect for the center of Carcassonne. 9 minute walk from the train station and 25 minute walk to the medieval city. Very close to shops, bars and restaurants. Facilities provided are everything you would need for a holiday. The communication was great and Jean Luc was very quick in answering my questions.

Cons: No negatives.

Short trip - great location

Pros: The property was very clean, well situated and our host was an excellent communicator. The information provided to operate everything was adequate- the apartment is up one flight of stairs, no lift. Would 100% stay again restaurant wise recommend Crepe le ble noir for amazing GF crepes - avoid maison cassoulet in the square - (gave us food poisoning). Still loved Carcassonne!

Great visit in September with great host

Pros: Great location overlooking the main square Place Carnot. Very generous provisions and nice touches by the host who was very helpful with good communication and let us enter early. Clean and well kept. We were 2 adults travelling but we noted cot and furniture for a young child to stay also.

Cons: Only issue was noise from nearby bar to very late but this is a cosequence of being rght on the main square.

A wonderful week in a delightful location.

Pros: Perfect location overlooking Place Carnot. The host, Jean Luc, messaged to ask if we needed anything else. Lots of little extras - toiletries, wine, coffee pods etc etc - were well thought-out and much appreciated. An excellent weeks stay.

Cons: Nothing, all was good.

Pros: The apartment is in a good location and nicely furnished. Basic appliances are available. It was nice to see that the owner doesn't skimp on toilet paper or coffee pods for guests, something we've experienced in other properties.

Cons: The lack of a door between the shower and the bedroom is a bit odd. It's a shame the lock on the main door only locks with a single turn.

Pros: Perfect location, in the main square with restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Perfect host and very good communication.

Pros: Lovely spacious apartment overlooking the bustling Place Carnot. Very quiet when the windows were closed. We didn't meet Jean Luc, but he messaged with lots of helpful information.

Cons: Nothing to dislike

Pros: We were happy with just about everything with the property. It is in a central location to the train station and town centre and within easy walking distance to the fortified city. The host was always available and provided clear information before and during our stay. It felt safe and was clean. Highly recommended.

Cons: The only disadvantage (which is also a strength) with this property is that it is right on Carnot square. Because of the heat, we had to open the windows which meant that it was loud at night and again early in the morning when the street cleaning began. But again, this is only minor.
