I recommend it nonetheless

Pros: Spacious room and bathroom. Clean, great breakfast and coffee. Friendly staff.

Cons: Inconsistent housekeeping - On the day before our departure, housekeeping did not dispose of the trash or provide fresh water, which had been done consistently on previous days. It was also unclear whether the room was fully cleaned or if only the bed was made. The room was quite cold during December, despite the heating being set to a high temperature

Pros: The breakfast was beyond expectations. Delicious & plentiful. Staff were very helpful, accomodating, charming. The grounds are stunning.

Cons: It's an old building & the corridor carpets need a little help. The inside of the rooms however is all brand new, very clean & comfortable.

A rare gem in a tranquil setting… recommended for history lovers.

Pros: Staff & service were fantastic & very helpful. Delicious breakfast & tranquil peaceful location. Lovely to stroll at dawn in the grounds in the early morning mist.

Cons: Carpet in the hallways a bit dated, though rooms are newly renovated & lovely.

Pros: Beautiful chateau, recently renovated. Incredible food for dinner from the chef, which we ate outside on the terrace. Lovely traditional rooms and a fantastic swimming pool. The location is quiet and peaceful and it's family run which we liked. We had the place to ourselves most of the time, it was amazing!

Cons: The finishing touch would be air con in the room as it was hot. We opened the windows but there were mosquitos.

Pros: It was a beautiful property, lovely staff, very kind and helpful. Food was incredible and personal and we loved it

It felt very glamorous to have a chateau to ourselves!

Pros: The location and views were wonderful, the staff were helpful and friendly and the food was top notch.

Cons: It was nearly 40 degrees the day we stayed, so it would have been nice for air conditioning, but really not a criticism as I would imagine it is a rare requirement.

Pros: The Château was very impressive and modernised. The staff were very friendly, especially Anuk, who was amazing and very helpful

Pros: Très beau lieu parfaitement rénové. Bel environnement, personnel serviable et attentionné. Bon rapport qualité prix. Proche de la belle cité médiévale de Mirepoix et des châteaux cathares.

Cons: Murs nus avec peu de décoration, ambiance \

Pros: Tout est superbe, le domaine très bien entretenu, la chambre , la salle de bain moderne, le calme, l’accueil. La beauté des lieux Très bon Petit déjeuner copieux

Pour une vraie vie de châteaux !

Pros: La vraie vie de châteaux dominant un Lac, superbement rénové, ayant appartenu à la Famille Vieljeux, armateurs rochelais, Tout y est beau, immense parc, perspectives de paysages infinis, piscines dans un jardin à la française, dîners et petits déjeuners excellents, service par deux jeunes femmes adorables. Une adresse très rare, près de Morepoix, à une heure au sud de Carcassonne.
