Logis Hotel - Restaurant La Marbrerie

Great

Pros: Good breakfast. Location perfect for wandering around the ancient town. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. The ancient rooms of the Logis were fascinating, we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

Cons: The one downside for us was the early morning traffic , but clearly not the fault of the Logis.

Great restaurant, room with character

Pros: Let's be honest: if you're staying here, it's for the really excellent restaurant (or maybe all the nearby wineries if that's your thing) more than the hotel itself. Having said that, our room was very characterful with lots of features in a particular style of marble after which the room was named, shutters on a window overlooking the outdoor tables etc.

Cons: The shower could do with 10 minutes actively spent with a tube of superglue

We would recommend a stay at the Marbrerie!

Pros: This was our second stay at the Marbrerie and even though we preferred the room we had the first time it was again a very pleasant stay. Both rooms we have now seen are very big and display marble features reflecting the history of the building. The breakfast is very good offering fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants, local bread and jams and a great coffee, all served at the table!

If you go to Caunes-Minervois - stay at the Marbrerie

Pros: We arrived in Caunes Minervois On a cold and rainy December day and had had a very warm welcome at the hotel. Our room was big, high ceilings, old fashioned, typical French, lovely and warm and just perfect. The room had a separate toilet and a shower room with the most amazing local Caunes-Marble wash basin. Which makes perfect sense as the Hotel La Marbrerie was the old marble manufacture.

Pros: Great location, lovely to have such a nice restaurant downstairs - very quiet, lovely clean room, easy parking.

Precioso hotel clásico, en un bonito pueblo, muy confortable.

Pros: Un bonito edificio, muy bien decorado, recordando que fue un histórico taller de mármoles, en lugar ´céntrico del pueblo; una habitación muy amplia y tranquila, la propietaria muy atenta y un buen desayuno.

Cons: El restaurante estaba cerrado, y fue una lástima, pues tenia muy buen aspecto.

Pros: 2eme séjour tout aussi agréable qu'il y a 10 ans ! Lieu atypique, le charme d'antan judicieusement revisité. Confortable et calme. Bonne table. Bons produits régionaux en vente directe par les producteurs locaux. Excellent rapport qualité prix.

Cons: Rien, on y reviendra sans hésiter !

Pros: La situation, la possibilité de se garer à côté, le calme et la décoration originale.

Cons: Pour la salle de bain, un tapis de bain pourrait être utile. Pour le petit déjeuner, un peu plus de protéines, fromage, jambon ou oeuf.
