Lovely feel to Montsegur

Pros: Basic but had everything I needed. Very comfortable bed , plenty of room for one person. Very quiet

As a single lady travelling I felt very welcomed and comfortable during my stay.

Pros: Location was excellent, perfect walking distance from the Cite and also all downtown shops, amenities and restaurants. The people in reception couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming. I was recommended two restaurants on check in and both restaurants were lovely. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Pros: Friendly staff. Clean comfortable room. Parking on site. Good restaurant nearby for evening meal.

Cons: We are elderly and it was too far to walk to the medieval city. Petite train didn't stop for us but that not the hotels fault.

Pros: We didn’t have breakfast - the location was lovely and walkable to old Carcassonne through le Bastid Area which was really lovely too - the hotel was full of character and we loved our room

30 minute walking distance to old town. Petite Train and bus stop outside hotel.

Pros: Traditional building and furniture. Staff friendly. Secure parking for motorbike.

Comfortable and clean. Lovely staff. Room for improvement with the breakfast menu.

Pros: Charming old style hotel with comfortable beds. Lovely and quiet, even in high season

Cons: The location was a long walk from the train station, about 20 minutes and the streets were poorly lit and uneven at 10 pm. The breakfast was basic, pastries were not fresh, we would have liked a more varied breakfast.

Tour de France stay in Carcassonne 💛

Pros: Didier was very welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and the AC worked really well. As we stayed in July it was needed. The hotel allowed us to park our car for the day whilst we watched the Tour de France in the town. A very traditional hotel which made a pleasant stay ☺️
