Perfect little gem in a stunning location - what a treat to call it home for a few days!

Pros: What a find! We absolutely loved the time we spent at this remarkable little gite in Orlague. A quirky but well-equipped apartment in a stunning old building, tucked away in the old town with gorgeous views of the river and the Devil's bridge. It has loads of character and we especially loved the spacious terrace with full sun all afternoon, and cooking on the outdoors kitchenette. Bed was comfy and Marion and her husband were responsive, friendly and really helpful. Highly recommend.

Cons: Nothing that really effected us, but might be useful info for others: The décor and furnishings are a little tired and dated, so that may not be to everyone's taste but didn't bother us at all. The two single beds are set up on a wooden mezzanine built into the entrance hall, which is accessed via steep wooden stairs without a handrail; we didn't use it at all as there were only two of us, but it could be an issue for anyone who struggles with heights. Parking is unreserved street-parking on the main road on the other side of the bridge, and it is a bit of a climb up a couple of narrow cobbled streets, maybe 200 yards total from where we parked, but even that had it's own charm (the old town is mostly pedestrianised so this can't really be avoided if you want to stay there). Marion's husband was happy to help with carrying bags.

We loved the old world ambiance of Olargues and the property immersed us into this.

Pros: The property had heaps of old world charm. It was in the middle of a medieval town with great views of the river and valley. Inside it was spacious.

Cons: Only thing was we had trouble finding the place, and a lot of luggage and had to carry it a fair distance from where the rental car was parked.

Pros: The comfort level was fine, the roominess, the friendliness of the owner, who gave us a lovely bottle of her family wine, and the interesting mediaeval village.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Sehr stimmungsvoll, komfortabel, liegt im historischen Zentrum, sehr geräumig, sehr gut ausgestattet.

Cons: Der Türgriff sollte repariert werden, aber das ist eine Kleinigkeit. Ich war bei der Ankunft sehr müde und deshalb zu dem sehr freundlichen Gastgeber etwas kurz angebunden. Das tut mir leid. Noch ein Grund, wieder zu kommen.

Séjour sans problème dans un lieu historique

Pros: L'emplacement dans le vieux Olargues, le spacieux de l'appartement, la terrasse bien abrité, les conseils du propriétaire relatifs aux randonnées de la région et les cartes ign mises à ma disposition.

Cons: L'accès à l'appartement un peu difficile dans une vieille ruelle étroite caladée.

Jättefin lägenhet i fantastiskt fin by!

Pros: Väldigt bra läge. Fin atmosfär i en fantastiskt vacker by. Rymligt och fräscht. Trevlig värd.

Cons: Kanske lite bättre utemöbler hade önskats. I övrigt var allt kanonbra!

Rust op een prachtige plek.

Pros: Prachtige locatie en veel ruimte (meer dan verwacht). Leuke eetkeuken. Prima bed.

Cons: Het mooie ruime terras met uitzicht was tijdens de hittegolf helaas te warm. Jammer dat er geen thee en koffie aanwezig was.

Pros: Le côté authentique dans un village médiéval. La terrasse couverte.

Cons: Le manque de clarté dans le gîte.

Pros: Appartement dans une maison ancienne typique du charmant village d'Olargues. La location est spacieuse, avec une terrasse semi couverte très agréable. Elle est bien équipée et la décoration est sympa. Elle est également bien située, idéale pour rayonner dans le parc naturel du Haut Languedoc. Le propriétaire est très agréable et arrangeant.

Cons: N'est pas accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite.

Un formidable endroit

Pros: Un endroit merveilleux pour son emplacement au cœur du village, une terrasse incroyable pour sa vue et la place, l'intérieur est spacieux, propre, les références au cinéma drôles et incitent à la curiosité, tout est prévu et chouette, l'hôte est adorable, on recommande aussi le restaurant de l'autre côté du pont. Merci pour votre accueil dans cet endroit adorable

Cons: Absolument rien, tout est vraiment top, deux petites pistes d'amélioration qu'on se permet : une bouteille de vin local dans le frigo quand on arrive et on aura envie d'en acheter parce qu'il est très bon, et un rideau de douche pour les maladroits comme nous.
