Beautiful Home In Carcassonne

Pros: It was a lovely house, well equipped and with a fabulous swimming pool.

Cons: On arrival we couldn't get in and that was irritating.

Overall, following the initial entry experience, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Pros: Traditional typical spacious French house. Quiet location, private space around gardens & pool. Private, secure on site parking. Good facilities.

Cons: 1. Confusion over initial entry procedures which, had we arrived late and in darkness, would have proved challenging & most stressful. Key code details were not supplied when expected and we had to request code. Then on arrival the initial code provided did not work. We had to contact centre who provided a new code. Then, no instructions were provided as to how electric gates operated. 2. The owners should be aware of an unpleasant smell of stagnant water which is apparent on first floor landing in the vicinity of entrance to pool side bedroom.

Pros: This is a beautiful French home with all the modern conveniences. We had a very comfortable stay 😀 I would definitely recommend this property for a family or a group of friends. Fantastic kitchen and lots of utensils, cutlery and crockery. We didn't want to leave.

Cons: The only criticism I had was that it was dusty, particularly the headboards and under the beds, and in the corners. Perhaps the cleaning company could just give the floors and various spaces a damp dusting prior to vacuuming. This house was not dirty but I would prefer if the floors were dust free.
