Maison du Parc

The place was great for our brief stay: convenient and good value with an excellent host.

Pros: A very friendly and helpful host who always checked what we needed. Breakfast was great, with plenty to eat, and more offered if we needed it. The location was excellent: perfect for the town and local walks. The house itself was interesting with lots of fascinating things to look at.

Cons: The bed was a little soft for us and perhaps a bit small. The facilities were good, but we would have liked a door on the bathroom.

Everything except the bed was super!

Pros: Everything! Very nice host 😊 The garden and the breakfast was very good!

Cons: The bed with plastic protection under the sheet was not very comfortable.

Central, traditional and enjoyable stay in St Chinian Chambres d'Hotes

Pros: Michel is an excellent host and it was a great experience staying in his lovely home - its like stepping back into a Grand Age in France. There was good WiFi and lots of hot water. Coffee was available and if asked, Michel was happy to provide tea, hairdryer etc. He gave us some excellent touring tips. The house is in the centre of St Chinian and the parking is free in the main square.

Cons: Our room was spacious but the bed and bathroom perhaps better for one person. Michel offered me the choice of two rooms which was kind. Breakfast was typical continental - some fruit would be a great addition.

Très bon sejour

Pros: Nous avons passé un court mais très bon moment dans la Maison du Parc. Le charme de l'ancien , l'authenticité, le très chaleureux accueil et le bon petit déjeuner nous ont ravis. C'est un lieu à recommander. Jocekyne et Denis

A good location and value to stay in St. Chinian

Pros: Location is very good for exploring the area. The breakfast was good but the same every day and could be more adventurous with fresh fruit or such. Helpful host. The garden is large and very nice to have a glass of good St. Chinian wine in the afternoon.

Cons: The bathroom was minimal but functional. The towels were a bit rough from being line dried and older. Could use some more lights all around. Overall the whole building could use some maintenance but it is a classic and they are doing good work to keep it alive.

Best staff and best location in a fantastic maison

Pros: Genuint franskt, härlig miljö mitt i byn, fantastiskt trevlig personal.

A quick night to enjoy St Chinian. The property fit the bill perfectly for that.

Pros: The owner was very sweet and welcoming. The back yard was peaceful and nice. I wish it had been warm enough to really spend some time out there to enjoy it.

Cons: The plastic bed cover under the sheets was a bit weird as it made noise when you moved. It would have been nice to have 4 pillows rather than two. Also it would have been nice to have some glasses and water pitcher in the room. The room was clean but the main area was pretty dusty. I’m sure it takes a lot to keep up a property of this size and I would say overall Michael does a great job. A
