A lovely place to stay with a super ambience.

Pros: Excellent situation, very well and interestingly renovated house, clean, simply furnished bedrooms with views of mountains. Quiet and calm with little corners to sit in outside in the garden. A very welcoming, helpful and friendly host, Frederic also provides super meals and ensures everyone enjoys their time in Montsegur, - and benefits from the lovely ambiance of La Maison sous le Chateau.

Good value for money. Very authentic. World class view from the windows.

Pros: The host was very sympathetic, friendly and helpful. The setting was world class. It was nice and clean. Nice outdoor seating.

Cons: The shower door was narrow - I could not enter. The bed was hard on my back.

Pros: The host was super nice and welcoming and prepared delicious dinner for us, which we ate altogether with the other guests. The house is very beautiful with a nice view and a lovely garden around the house - I would definitely recommend staying there :)

Pros: Lovely view from the bedroom window over the rooftops of the village. Adequate parking nearby. Good breakfast. Fascinating photographs and paintings throughout the house and a knowledgeable and interesting host.

Cons: The shower and toilet facility was a little cramped.

Pros: Arriving wet and bedraggled from a day walking in the rain we were shown into the living room to warm up in front of a roaring fire. The whole place was very stylishly decorated and furnished by the English speaking owner.
