The most amazing stay!

Pros: Unlike any other place I've ever stayed. Instant tranquility with beautiful surroundings and hot bath. Had the most amazing nights sleep to the sound of the river outside. What made the stay was the personable hosts Cedric and Nathalie. Wonderful, warm and caring people who have made a really special place for themselves and their guests. It's the personal touches that made the trip. Cedric discovered it was out wedding anniversary and made us a special breakfast. He is quite the chef and evening meals were excellent. Genuinely sad to leave and we really look forward to returning.

An absolute gem of a place in the Pyrenees

Pros: Firstly, the hosts were so friendly, helpful and very attentive. The building is beautiful and our room was lovely, spotlessly clean, really comfortable and they arranged for a heater to take the chill off the room. We also had full access to a kitchen/diner and living room just to ourselves. Cedric cooked us an amazing 3 course meal and the breakfast was exceptional the next morning with delicious buckwheat pancakes and homemade preserves. The setting is beautiful in the Pyrenees, peaceful and relaxing, and we drove through beautiful mountain scenery. The bonus was meeting their gorgeous collie. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Charming guest house style hotel

Pros: The hotel is a beautiful and very large French townhouse. The hotel is run by a charming couple, in a guest house style. Eating dinner together for example, and also offering flexibility with arrivals, departures, and meal times.

The hospitality, delicious meals and elegance make this wonderfully refreshing to one’s heart.

Pros: The warmth of the welcome and hospitality, the elegance of the furnishings and paintings, the peaceful classical piano music, the delicious home cooked meals with local ingredients, the sauna and spa, the sympathetic chapel in the evening room, as well as the location nestled in the valley, all make the stay wonderfully refreshing to one’s heart and spirit. I stayed as a long distance cyclist following the high Pyrenees

A wonderful experience and great hospitality

Pros: Super hospitable and welcoming host. Lovely garden terrace with natural thermal pool. Great cooking and convivial evening dinner together with other guests and the host.

Pros: The location is in the middle of the nature and the owners are really nice. There is as well a natural hot spring that one can use. The food was great as well! We had a really nice stay here.

Pros: We had the most enchanting stay at Notre-Dame d'Escouloubre! The ambiance was truly divine, and the host's generosity and kindness made the experience exceptional. The property is a haven of tranquility. Enriching conversations, coupled with delicious food, added an extra layer of warmth to our visit. The hot spring in the garden was a delightful surprise, making the property even more magical. Without a doubt, we would return to this amazing place for another retreat. A perfect blend of warmth, hospitality, culinary delights, and natural beauty. Highly recommended!
