Pros: Amazing stay! It felt like home, wish we stayed longer! Its actually not a room but a small apartment which is so clean and cozy and the hosts are very very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Pros: The hosts were fantastic, very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our late arrival and suggesting places to visit during our stay. Even cooked us an authentic French meal on one of the evenings. Breakfast was great and the pool was fantastic. (much needed in the 40 degree heat.)

Cons: Although the owners had tried to cool the property with fans and an air cooler, there was no air conditioning so the rooms were very hot at night. (We visited during a heatwave. Temperatures at night were over 30 degrees inside bedroom) Mosquitoes can be bad in the evening bring bug spray !!

Beautifully appointed property with excellent outside space and pool. Perfect for a relaxing break

Pros: Pictures of the property do not do it justice. The whole apartment is decorated beautifully and with a very high finish and the outside space and pool are amazing. Corinne and Christophe were brilliant hosts and could not have been more helpful. Each morning a fantastic breakfast was left for us to eat at our leisure. The apartment is about 15mins walk from the station so may be worth taking a cab (unlike us who walked in 36c heat!), and is about 30 mins walk from La Cite. We liked that it was not in the centre of town as it felt peaceful not being instantly surrounded by tourists. There was a well stocked supermarket about 8 mins walk away so perfect to stock up to relax in the beautiful garden and cool off in the pool. We also liked that the owners have a photo book showing the transformation of the property from when they bought it to now which was very interesting.

Cons: Unfortunately the apartment doesn’t have air conditioning and as our visit was during a heatwave the two fans provided had no effect on cooling the room, therefore making it almost impossible to sleep. (I am sure that if not heatwave conditions then the fans would have been fine). I also found the bed to be much too soft for me as I prefer a hard bed (but also appreciate that others like soft beds). Even though we struggled to sleep because of the heat and bed I cannot take off more than 1 mark as the whole apartment is lovely.

Friendly host and great stay

Pros: The host are super friendly and respond promptly. The breakfast is amazing. The swimming is a big plus for summer heat.

Cons: The location is a bit far away from the center and right next to a relatively busy road, though it doesn’t affect our rest much.

Lovely accommodation - we would definitely recommend it.

Pros: This was more of an apartment than a room. Imagine pictures in a magazine and this is what greets you. Beautifully decorated and modern styling both indoors and in the garden pool area. It was clean and fresh. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Secure parking for one car is available. It is slightly out of the town centre and castle area. You can probably walk it but it was raining the day we arrived.

A lovely homestay that made you feel right at home in Carcassonne.

Pros: It was a wonderful place to relax. We had our own space, living room, small kitchen area and everything we needed. We were even invited to use the pool if we wanted.

Cons: Nothing, couldn't fault a thing.

The apartment is an oasis ;-))

Pros: Corinne is an amazing host. Very attentive and positive. We wish we could have stayed longer as the house has everything we could have wished for
