Château La Villatade

Beautiful little cottage overlooking the winelands.

Pros: Our little cottage was quiet and beautiful. Gorgeous views over the winelands. Our host always managed to book us a nice restaurant of the beaten track, even on the days that hardly any was open. We enjoyed the winetasting at the chateaux and bought some wines to enjoy at home. We absolutely recommend this address.

Cons: The bed was a bit tired.

Fantastically located with beautiful scenery all around. Lovely cottage - secluded & comfortable.

Pros: What a location! We stayed in small cottage with its own garden area - views of vineyard and beautiful countryside. Breakfast of bread and pastries delivered from local bakery to the chateau. Well equipped kitchen was great for cooking meals bought from local butchers and supermarket (short drive). Swimming pool in the grounds made for fantastic relaxation area which we were kindly given access to after formal check out time. Some access to local walks direct from site, but with a car a short drive to some fantastic walking through varied forest and spectacular mountain scenery. Friendly domestic animals there to greet us and we didn't want to leave.

Very relaxing stay and also exploring the villages of the Tarn

Pros: Pretty well everything. The location, the history and the wine.

Cons: We could have done with some fly spray, but we could have asked. Sophie was the perfect host and would have assisted.

Pros: La situation, l´environnement sont magnifiques. La piscine est également exceptionnelle.

Le paradis tout près de Carcassonne

Pros: Endroit formidable dans un cadre tout aussi exceptionnel. Hôtes très sympathiques. Piscine magnifique. Tranquillité assurée.

Lieu très confortable et reposant au coeur des vignobles et d'une région magnifique.

Pros: This setting could not be more beautiful and peaceful. My husband and I had been traveling for several weeks and needed a couple of days of peace and quiet. It was perfect. Sophie and Richard were amazing hosts.

Beautiful, serene location was the perfect base for exploring the area.

Pros: Our stay could not have been more relaxing. We enjoyed walking around the property. Every morning I had tea and pastries out on my terrace listening to the birds singing.
