Voyage de visite à ma fille, vivant à Castres.

Pros: L'hôtesse Laurence très prévenante a installé un climat de confiance jusqu'au départ choisi par moi et non par obligations. J'ai apprécié.

Cons: La mezzanine peut-être pour dormir demande une certaine souplesse articulaire. Cela ne m'a pas gênée outre mesure.

A cute cottage, perfect place to stay in Castres

Pros: We enjoyed a very nice week, it has everything that a couple need, the air conditioner is great, everything works. The cute cottage is as described with a nice little garden and the possibility to eat inside or in the garden. Castres is a very pretty town, make your first stop the tourist office, they are fantastic and will give you lots of tips on what to do and where to go. You are also close to the beautiful village of Lautrec, spectacular waterfall bathing (the trout leap, Lacrouzette), the amazing walk up to Hautpoul (over the suspension bridge) and Lac des montagnès for swimming & hiking. There is plenty to do in the area, also a lovely park close by.

Cons: For us it was fine, but note that it is a 25 minute hike into town (if you wish to leave the car at home). Some may like a television but we did not need one. I did not notice wifi, but that is usually not an issue these days (perhaps there was internet, I never asked).
