Lovely apartment, clean and well presented, host polite and always available via message if needed

Pros: Clean and tidy property, peaceful location, comfortable beds, spacious, well set up

Cons: There was no lock on the shower room door

Excellent, relaxing stay in a clean spacious appartment.

Pros: Family of six (inc 2 x boys & 2 x girls). 3 Double beds and a portable single bed - there was also a baby cot if needed. The property is well finished and a five minute walk from Place Carnot in the heart of the Bastide. This was a great relaxing 2 night stay at the end of a 14day trip.

Cons: It would have been good to have a second key fob and apartment key as there were times when both adults and the 16year old were all going different directions.

Wonderful apartment in the centre of Carcassone

Pros: Fantastic appartment with everything you could need for great stay. The apartment is within walking distance of the train station and the old walled village. It is also great value!

Cons: We liked everything. So comfortable! So spacious!

Very enjoyable stay

Pros: We had a very enjoyable stay. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. There were plenty of fans and AC too, which was appreciated as we were there during the heatwave. The street is very narrow, so you have to be quick unloading if you are coming by car, as other traffic cannot get past. We didn't find that a problem though, as it's not a particularly busy street. There is both free and paid parking nearby. The location was very convenient for all the restaurants on Place Carnot where we ate twice. Bakeries and supermarket also very close by. About a half an hour walk to the medieval city walls. It was quiet despite its central location. Host Serge was very helpful.

Pros: Great location for the Place Carnot where there are a lot of cafes and restaurants Beautiful, stylish decor Use of a kitchen was really handy Property was very spacious and everyone had a double bed Great communication from the hosts Lovely welcome gift

Cons: There was traffic noise in the two bedrooms facing the road Not great for anyone with mobility issues as there are numerous steps around the property

Pros: Great location and a lovely apartment. We appreciated having tea and coffee provided. Serge was very responsive to questions.

Cons: Didn't know how to work the heating so cold on the first night. Would be good to have instructions in English.

A wonderful, peaceful apartment in a fascinating historic city.

Pros: The location of Chic Bastide is perfect for exploring Carcassonne. A short walk from the station, and then a wonderful scenic stroll up to the historic quarter of the city. The apartment is really comfortable and peaceful. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Serge is a wonderful host, and made us feel very welcome. I can highly recommend Chic Bastide.

Great base for a 5-people family to explore Carcassone and surroundings

Pros: Very nice apartment, windows on all sides, conveniently located in La Bastide

Pros: Gorgeous apartment really cool decor. Very comfortable as it's a large apartment, plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 screamagers. Great location close to all the action. The castle is amazing definitely recommend seeing the jousting.

Cons: The apartment has steps inside which may be difficult for anyone with restricted mobility. But it wasn't a problem for us.
