Charming 400 Years Old Apt. Exceeded My Expectations

Pros: This apartment is 400 years old and situated in a quiet, residential neighborhood. But it is also just minutes away by foot to the town square with cafes, restaurants and an 'express' Carrefour market. Train station and the famous walled castle/old town are reasonable walking distances away - if you are traveling light. The staff is very responsive - excellent communication.

Cons: Not a criticism at all but just a note that my apt.'s sleeping area is a loft accessed via a wooden staircase. May be inconvenient for some. But there are also apts available that are on one level.
