A comfy stay in Carcassonne

Pros: The location Very comfortable We had everything we needed

Absolutely recommendable, we had a wonderful stay.

Pros: Central location, large and fully equipped apartment, very clean, nice host who is asap available if needed. Very good value for money.

Good base for exploring Carcassonne

Pros: The location is perfect as it is only a 15 minute walk to the old city of Carcassonne. You can park on the same street for 6 euros a day. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, no lift but manageable. The apartment is basic but all you need. I would definitely stay there again with my family.

Cons: Asked the host regarding parking opposite the apartment and still waiting for a reply.

Pros: Great location. 900m from the station and in between the old city and the newer one.

Pros: DOLCE VIDA apartment outside the walls of the old town, very comfortable and spacious. Third floor Modern equipment for kitchen and bathroom toiletries, all very clean. It's a shame that you can't extend it one more day. All the apartments were already reserved. In front there is a large parking lot and free parking areas. On the corner there is a bar where in the mornings they make good American breakfasts at a good price, a few meters away there is a carrefour.

Perfect stay for a weekend for the reasonable price

Pros: The apartment is very spacious, it has a lot of daylight. It was very quiet even though there’s a street just in front of the building. Very close to the city center

It's been amazing. We've loved our stay and would definitely go back.

Pros: I needed to contact the host on a couple of occasions and they were excellent: very quick to respond and accommodating. I cannot thank our host enough for making our stay so easy-going and pleasant. The bed and the sofa are comfortable and we slept very well (2 parents, 2 children). The view onto the fortifications and the Cité is amazing, although you have to sit on the window ledge to see through the wrought iron window grid. These windows themselves are beautiful. On the other side of the apartment, you can see onto the boulevard and, if it's a Saturday morning, you will see the buzzing market and its stalls before heading out. We would love to stay longer!

Cons: There is not much we didn't like, but heads-up (as stated anyway): this apartment is situated on the third floor (access through stairs) and under the roof. There is much head room in the middle but the beams either side are low so if you are taller than 1.80m (6ft), then bend at either end. I am 1.65m and I was fine but my husband (1.96m) hit his head once. Choose your side of the bed accordingly. On hot days, we should expect the rooms to get hot, so close the windows/shutters during the hot hours, however fan and A/C are also provided. Essentially, we would love to go back.
