A wonderful place for a couple

Pros: Slightly away from the old town, peaceful and quiet, yet close to everything. The apartment has absolutely everything you might need for a few days’ stay - from a hairdryer and toiletries to a washing machine. We especially appreciated that cleaning supplies were provided. The kitchen is fully equipped. The apartment is furnished with great French taste — it feels comfortable, cozy, and genuinely pleasant to be there. We stayed in February and barely used the heating, as the building itself is very warm. We were very happy to stay here, and if we come back to Carcassonne, we would definitely choose this place again. We loved everything about it.

Cosy, quiet, well organised

Pros: Cosy, colorful and restful ambience with all the practical things from window curtains to kitchenware, laundry machine, folding clothes dryer, dish detergent, mop for bathroom just in case (very appreciated as one of us uses crutches and needs to avoid slipping on bathroom floors if wet) . Impeccably clean, in a very quiet area close to the centre and public transport. We got the ground floor studio as requested, for our mobility needs. Helpful hosts, anwered our questions in the private messages here on the website. Clear check-in/ check out procedure and helpful brochure on the practical/ cool places in town. We followed the advice to leave our luggage after check out at a central bar for a small fee. Suggestions: a wall shower gel holder in the bathroom and warm light for the small night lights by the bed could be nice additions to the charm of this place.

Great for a 1 or 2 day stay

Pros: It was very compact, but full of thoughtful touches and a very good price. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was well located - equidistant from amenities and sights. Getting in was very straightforward.

Cons: It was very small once the suitcases were in!

Pros: The quality of this place for the price was incredible. Very comfortable. All the amenities. Very clean. Close enough to walk everywhere.

Cons: Super minor thing - it was a little dusty on the shelves by the bed.

Wonderful

Pros: Beautiful apartment exactly between town and medieval city. Close to the river Aude. Perfect for me travelling solo. Everything provided in such a cosy space. Full size fridge, hob, microwave, even extras like games and coloured lighting. And a terrace for drinks outside. Absolutely lovely. And at a good price.

Cons: Nothing at all.
